Nestled between the two financial districts (City of London and Canary Wharf) on the north side of the Thames River, the apartment offers the best of both worlds – close proximity to the action but without all the noise that’s usually associated with city life. The building is situated on a quiet one-way street, with bedrooms at the rear of the property facing a converted church (now used for a children's daycare centre) - so no noisy bells to disturb your Sunday morning lie-in. Fully furnished with all utensils, linens, and everything you’ll need for your stay – just bring your suitcases!

Available for your use is a 40 inch TV, VCR, DVD and CD player, as well as a number of books, guides and other helpful information to make your stay in the city as enjoyable as possible. Free Wi-Fi is also provided. The apartment has access to a communal roof terrace with great views over the rooftops of the city - Tower Bridge in one direction, and Canary Wharf in the other. It's the perfect setting for a few quiet moments contemplating life whilst looking across the rooftops of London.

The property has wooden floors throughout (except for the double bedrooms which have gorgeous soft carpet) and has a homely and contemporary feel. It is light and spacious, and each room is equipped with double bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, and other amenities to make your stay comfortable. There is additional storage elsewhere in the apartment too. If you have more than four people in your group, please inform us and we will provide a super-comfortable deluxe blow up mattress.

Wow! What a lovely full review, thank you so much for taking the time to give future guests a true flavour of the property! You've mentioned location and that really is a big feature, so many touristy (and local hangouts!) within such a short walk (as are a couple of subway stations, too), many of which we mention as recommendations in the Pink Folder we leave in the apartment. We're glad you also appreciated all the amenities we provide - we believe we've thought of most things since first hosting guests a decade ago, and therefore set up our each of our RachelStays apartments in exactly the same way we'd want to find an apartment if WE were travelling! Glad you didn't mind the two flights of steps up, who needs a gym membership, right? But thankfully a brand new lift is now installed so hopefully it'll be good for the next twenty or so years to come :-) Future guests can either choose to walk up or take the elevator. And we have to say that practically everyone loves the ease of using our electronic keys... we like to always think ahead to make things as easy as possible for anyone who stays with us! It was a breeze hosting you and we'd be happy to have you back any day :-)

It is huge and perfect for Spring and Summer relaxing times and of course comes the freebie of a unique view of this fabulous city.
