Further details indoors

This building is located a few steps from the Piazza on King Street. It contains three recently refurbished bright and spacious one-bedroom flats on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors overlooking King Street to the front and the pretty St Pauls Churchyard to the rear. It lies equidistant from Covent Garden and Leicester Square Underground Stations. (Please note that in Apartment 4, the windows are in the eaves so there is no street view. Although the London Eye can be seen in the distance).

Each apartment can sleep up to four people – two in the bedroom and two on a comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge area. These areas also contain a table, four chairs and a flat-screen TV. A fifth person can stay in apartments one and two with an optional fold out bed (£40 per stay). There is a maid service (Mon-Friday) excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Our flats all have modern shower-rooms (shower, hand basin and toilet) and fully fitted and equipped kitchen facilities.

Covent Garden lies in the heart of Central London and was originally home to London's fruit and vegetable market. It is now the hub of London's Theatreland and other important entertainment venues, the most important of which is the imposing Royal Opera House in Drury Lane. Most venues lie within five to ten minutes' walk of our apartments.

Covent Garden houses the London Transport Museum and most of London's tourist attractions - including the London Eye - lie within easy travelling distance.

A wealth of street entertainment can be found in the famous Piazza. The former Market Building now contains an exotic mix of small shops, cafés and bars as well as the famous Apple Market stalls selling antiques, jewellery, clothing and gifts. Whilst King Street now contains the largest 'Apple' computer store, by contrast, Neal Street, Neal's Yard and Seven Dials and many of the neighbouring streets are littered with independent retailers selling a large selection of interesting and unusual items.

The area contains a very large number of old pubs as well as a wide variety of restaurants bars and cafés to suit every taste. There are also several supermarkets for those who wish to cater for themselves.

Our apartments all lie within a few minutes' walk of either Covent Garden (Piccadilly Line) and / or Leicester Square (Northern Line) Underground stations as well as many public bus routes.

“excellent stay”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2016

we had a really wonderful stay in this apartment located in Central London. everything was ok : the location , the cleaning, exc. we will come back for sure!

“Great location, good value”

Reviewed 15 Dec 2014

This is a great little apartment and good value. It was perfect for 2 but a bit small for 3. The sofabed was very comfy, the bed in the bedroom was very hard. The bathroom is tiny but has all you need. The living room is a good size. It was quiet at night, apart from Friday but Covent Garden was heaving that night. The flat has everything that one might want. It is in a great location and easy to pop back to with shopping or just for a break from the crowds in Covent Garden market that is just a few steps around the corner.

“Nice and tidy little place right in the middle of everything”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2014

The apartment is perfectly placed for sightseeing and shopping in the center of London - next to Covent Garden in a non-traficked street. If you don't prefer to get around by walking, several underground stations are only a few minutes' walk away. The place is not very spacious - the bathroom is actually very small - but we (two adults + two teenage girls) had no problems spending a full week in the apartment. The whole place is neat and tidy, and the kitchen is well equipped - but don't count on leftovers from previous guests; not even salt or a handfull of washing powder for the washing machine. The windows are situated rather high and a little back from the outer walls of the building, so there is only a horisontal view - including the London Eye. Key pickup from a safe in the building worked perfectly, and our contact (by email and text messages) with the owner was very positive.

“Location, Location, Location!”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2011

If you are thinking of visiting London to do a little sight seeing or a lot of shopping like I did, the location of this apartment doesnt get any better. This is THE location. This is the first time in 4 years I have been back to London after living in the Canaries, and Covent Garden is definfitley the place to be, it's Oxford Street, New Bond Street and Carnaby Street all rolled into one. For eating try 'Bills' (breakfast and dinner) in Slingsby Place and Laduree in the Covent Garden Piaza especially if you need a sugar rush from a delightful French Macaroon and coffee. The apartment was very clean on arrival and once you were in felt very secure. Perfect size for 2 people (maybe 3 at a push) The view out of the attic window was the London Eye and from the front window the Telecom tower...and on a still night you can hear the chimes of Big Ben...overall if you want to suck up the sights and sounds of London, this is for you.

“All you need in a compact package”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2011

Perfect location to see London from - right in the heart of Covent Garden. Went there with my partner and 8 year old son - apartment is quite tiny, but more than met our needs as were only really there at night to sleep and eat. Room has comfy double bed and pull out sleeper couch in the lounge. Wouldn't recommend for more than 3/4 people max as the space is quite limited. Great power shower! Kitchen had all amenties which was helpful so could eat most meals there if you wanted to - late night open Tesco's on the corner for stocking up which was fantastic! Check-in was quick and easy and was nice having a pub right below you - great place to eat when you needed a quick, no fuss meal. Another plus was the free wi-fi access. Would not recommend for elderly or disabled as there are a lot of stairs (3 flights) to climb and no lift - but we were warned about this so no surprises there. Thanks very much also to Sarah for all her help throughout the booking process! All in all, a very good stay in a prime spot - if you want to be in the centre of everything then this is the spot for you - Covent Garden tube station is 2 minutes away and Leicester Square tube station about 5 minutes away, or you can take a bus or walk as everthing is really that close! I would definitely stay there again.
