There is plenty to do and see in the local area and the property is so close to Central London you're never far away from the sights and sounds of one of the best loved capitals in the world. Vauxhall tube station is around five to ten minutes walk from the property, and from there you can take the Victoria tube line to many famous London landmarks.

Please see the transportation section for details.If you feel like staying closer to home, then you'll find the local shops, convenience stores, restaurants and bars, all within a few minutes' walk of the property. Of particular note, there is a convenience store, the Jolly Gardener's public house which is a German Haste pub serving lunch buffets and some excellent German beer. A Tesco supermarket is nearby where you can stock up on supplies for meals at home.If you stroll for just twenty minutes, following the riverbank on Albert Embankment, you'll find yourselves at Westminster where the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben seem to rise majestically out of the river. Also within a ten minute walk of the property is London's Imperial War museum and Lambeth Palace, home of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

We understand that sometimes flights are sometimes late at night, early in the morning or sometimes delayed. However for very late or early check-in a Late Check-in Fee is charged.

This is to cover the cost of sending someone to your property outside of normal working hours. London is a big city, travel at night or early morning is not always easy, and our greeters often come from quite far away to check you in.

Our charges are outlined below:

7 - 8pm and 8 - 9am: £25

8 - 10pm and 7 - 8am: £30

10 - 11:30pm: £40

11:30 - 1am and 6 - 7am: £50

1am - 6am: £60

“Very pleasurable holiday”

My family and I had a long search before choosing this property. In considering the location, the interior and the price I feel that we made an excellent choice. The house is ideally located near the River Thames and we enjoyed the walk to Big Ben which is no more than 15 minutes away. There is a grocery shop just at the beginning of the street and a few Cafe/Breakfast restaurants nearby where you can enjoy nice food served at very affordable prices. The house itself is a three bedroom house with plenty of space for the family to enjoy, and is exceptionally clean (we couldn't find a dirty spot anywhere). All the bedlinen and towels are provided and we were nicely surprised to find shampoos, shower gels and soaps already in the property for when we first arrived, which saved us going to the shop after our long travel. The greeter Kremena was waiting for us in the property with nice flowers and a bottle of wine which we didn't expect. She was very helpful, showed us the amenities of the property in detail and made sure that we were comfortable before leaving. At the end of our stay we didn't have any problems with receiving our deposit back which was refunded into our bank account 24 hours after our departure. I will certainly recommend Town House in Central London to anyone who is looking for a good price and a quality stay in London. P. Johnson
