Bath is the gateway to the West Country of England, and is an easy 90 minute train journey from London, Paddington, station, whilst also 40 minutes drive from Bristol Airport. The quieter pace of life and the friendly welcome of local people makes a visit truly memorable.

Central Bath

Bath is a wonderful small city to stay in, with one of Britain's top regional theatres within 10 minutes walk of of the property as well as a wealth of excellent eating places, along with clubs for the more energetic. Country walks are also easily accessible from the house, either along the canal or up into the surrounding hills.

For lovers of beautiful cities, Bath is hard to beat. The grandiose Neo-classical Palladian crescents, terraces, and squares spread out over the surrounding hills and set in its green valley are a demonstration par excellence of the integration of architecture, urban design, and landscape setting, and the deliberate creation of a beautiful city. “Bloody fantastic”

Could not of asked for more, the photo's do not do it justice at all. We stayed at the house for a hen do with 13 of us, it was just perfect. The house is gorgeous, quaint and homely. The garden is fantastic with little areas where you can sit and enjoy a meal together or just gaze at the view from the summer house, some of stayed up and managed to catch the sunrise which is was beautiful. It's a perfect distance from the town and the station (even though we did get a taxi as we had so much stuff) I would definitely use this house next time I stay in bath as it is great for a group of friends or family. And I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family. I can't express anymore how great it made our weekend being in such a lovely house in a beautiful city.

We stayed at Eighteen for a friend's Hen Party weekend in Bath. The house is very large, and easily accommodated 12 ladies. There are plenty of communal areas, including: a large dining area, lounge, music room and second lounge in the basement. The kitchen has an aga and is well equipped with lots of glasses, kitchen items and a dishwasher. There is a beautiful garden, with a lovely summerhouse (recently refurbished). We were delighted to hear that a brand new hot tub had been installed in the garden, and this made our trip even more enjoyable! The house is perfectly situated to quickly and easily walk into the centre of Bath (about ten minutes) and not a long walk to the train station (15 minutes max.). The house itself is full of character and well kept. The owners were very helpful before and throughout our stay, sending us lots of useful details beforehand, and happy to answer questions during our stay. I would certainly return to Eighteen and would recommend to friends.

For the benefit of future guests the hot tub sits on the ground and is not quite even and this is giving us problems managing the water levels and with it the water quality and hence safety. You will see that we have not put this into the house details, as we are not, at this stage, able to make it safely available to guests... sorry. But there is so much else to enjoy, so I hope it will not be a problem!

The perfect house for entertaining a large group - spacious kitchen, dining room and living room, comfortable bedrooms, 2 good bathrooms, lovely garden and summer house. The kitchen was well equipped which was fantastic. Very central location. The owner and housekeeper were incredibly nice to deal with and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

House is centrally located within walking distance to both train station and town. Parking was easy and accessible but does require some walking . The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the house is and how wonderfully the garden is presented. Conversations with owner were quick and informative and the house keeper was helpful and attentive. All in all fantastic experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. It was beautiful, stylish, very well looked after and I could not fault the cleanliness. We had aimed for a fun, stylish hen weekend. The whole thing felt very luxurious, I think, helped by the general size of the rooms and the light as well as how it has been furnished. The garden is beautiful and very unusual in the way it is so stepped which I got very excited about (although I confess we didn't spend much times outside). We didn't use the kitchen that much, because we tended to go out for meals, however; it was well kitted out, very much fit for purpose and equally stylish.The house is ideally located, so we spent some good times wandering through Bath and exploring what makes Bath Bath. Be warned though...there are several floors so you will get fit staying here!
