The Somerset region
The west country offers visitors a massive variety of areas to visit. From the larger cities/towns like Bristol and Bath to the villages of Devon. There are beaches, hills, woodland, history and much more. The South West is a great holiday destination.
The World Heritage City of Bath has welcomed visitors for almost two millennia. In times past they were drawn to its famous baths for their healing properties. Then came the Roman invasion in AD 43. The Romans brought with them their technology and architecture which is still very evident throughout the city.
Todays visitors are drawn to Bath for a variety of reasons: Its baths, history, the Arts, award winning restaurants, hotels, shopping, sporting events and just the beauty of the city.

My partner and I stayed at the Artpad for a couple of nights this month and had a thoroughly wonderful stay! On arriving at the Artpad we were very impressed with the beautifully grand apartment. The rooms are huge with plenty of space to relax and have been decorated to a very high standard. The little goodie basket was also a lovely touch and the contents were quickly consumed! The apartment is perfectly situated just a short walk from the centre of Bath, which is ideal. We would highly recommend and hope to return soon and stay a bit longer so we can see a bit more of beautiful Bath. Thank you Becky!
Thank you for your kind words and I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Yes definitely do come back - you're always welcome and indeed stay longer!

"Perfect in every way!!"
My husband and I stayed in the Artpad at the end of July for 2 nights. I had high expectations from all the positive reviews so was surprised that in real life the apartment is even more amazing than the photos show. When you first walk in it takes your breath away. The proportions of the rooms, light, décor, ambience (I could go on) are beyond words. It really reminded me of a stately home and we felt truly privileged to be able to stay in the apartment for the weekend. We have been to Bath a number of times and there is no doubt that the Artpad was the nicest accommodation we have stayed in, which made our trip so much more special. In fact we have never stayed in so much as it felt such a shame to leave it. All communications with the owner Becky were fantastic throughout and the welcome pack was a very thoughtful and appreciated touch. I cannot recommend the Artpad enough and we would not consider staying anywhere else in Bath in the future. It is so well located just a few minutes walk into the centre of the city, the parking was very convenience (and a necessity if you have a car). As stated already the quality of the apartment was second to none and we slept like babies in the enormous bed. It was very quiet and had everything we could have wanted for our stay. Thanks so much Becky
OOOOOOh so lovely to hear your feedback - thank you so much and I'm so glad you enjoyed staying at The Artpad. You must return one day x

"Lovely apartment on the ground floor with easy access to Bath."
Large apartment with outstanding features, high ceilings and great character. It is within walking distance of Bath and ideal for seeing all the main attractions that Bath has to offer.
Thank you for taking the time to write such great feedback - we're thrilled you enjoyed yourselves. Hope to welcome you back to The Artpad one day soon..

"Wonderful apartment, wonderful location!"
This apartment really has the wow factor, having been twice (once being for our wedding) I can say this really is better than the photographs suggest. It has the perfect location for walking out to Bath city centre and various parks. There is also on street parking (quite busy!) that can be arranged with the owner at low cost, especially when compared with the usual cost of parking in Bath city centre. I look forward to coming back again, it really exceeds expectations repeatedly!
It's so great to hear that your return trip to The Artpad was just as good as your first! Thank you for your lovely feedback and hope to see you back again one day soon...

"Exceptional flat (apartment) in an outstanding location."
The Artpad is as advertised on its website. The flat is spacious and well-appointed. Its proximity to the river, and the center of town could not be better. We intend to use the Artpad on our return trips to Bath--we couldn't rate it more highly.
Thank you so much for your kind words and very happy you enjoyed staying at The Artpad. You're always welcome back...

"Paradise in Bath"
We recently stayed here for our Christmas mini break, from start to end this place lived up to our expectations and more. Becky was so friendly and it was so easy to deal with her, she made our booking experience stress free and couldn't of done enough for us. The property itself is grand! It really gives you the wow factor as soon as you walk in and I agree with what others have said in that the pictures don't do it justice! Bath is a stunning place and this property sits in the heart of it all.....if you are thinking of going to bath I wouldn't even look anywhere else except the artpad to stay. We wouldn't think twice about going back, Thank you Becky,,,,
So glad you had a good Mini Christmas break with us - thanks for staying and hope to see you again this year!

The location is perfect with everything you need within minutes. I will be recommending to everyone who is visiting Bath and needs a place to stay. I'll definitely be booking there again.

"Fabulous, stylish apartment centrally located in Bath"
This apartment is even more stunning than depicted by the photos, if that is possible. It is very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well located near the centre of Bath. The host Rebecca is delightful, very communicative and always available by text to answer any queries. I highly recommend it.
Wow Thanks Sarah - so great to hear we're doing everything right! So glad you enjoyed your stay - do come and visit again!

"We didn't want to leave"
The location of this apartment is perfect and only three minutes' walk from shops and restaurants. The house is gorgeous and has been furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard. The owners have kept all the Georgian features and it is very well equipped with everything you might want, though you need to bring personal toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel etc. The bed is absolutely massive (super king I think) and very comfortable. A small amount of coffee, tea and sugar is provided and we got a lovely basket with wine, chocolates and crisps on arrival. The apartment is very spacious and there is a lovely little balcony to enjoy your coffee on in the morning. We would really recommend this apartment and Becky is very welcoming. Good selection of DVDs if you need to watch them and excellent information pack with recommendations for restaurants, etc. Parking is easy and right outside (permit is provided) and you really don't need to use the car at all to get round Bath day-to-day as everything is within walking distance. It's hard to think of anything that could be improved; maybe just a few more teabags if I had to be picky, but then there is an excellent convenience store a minute away where you can buy almost anything. I would definitely recommend that you stay here. I know we will be returning in the future.
What a lovely review - Thank you so much. It's very important to us that people are enjoying staying at The Artpad so we're grateful for your positive feedback. I promise there will be more teabags next time! Would love to welcome you back to The Artpad if ever you're visiting Bath again..
