“Funky Apartment”

This apartment is so very handy for the city centre - we parked our cars on Friday and didn't move them till Sunday as everything was accessible on foot. James provided parking permits too which was handy. The apartment is furnished to a high standard with plenty of 'wow factor'. It was well equipped and James was on hand should a problem arise, he even provided champagne glasses on request - thank you James! There are loads of interesting knick knacks dotted about the place which makes it a really interesting place to stay. We also enjoyed feeding the fish in the huge orb of a fish tank! Noise from the street at night and the noisy plumbing were possibly the only negatives.

My family and I (4 of us including 2 teenagers) enjoyed a great week over the Christmas break in this unusual but superbly well location basement flat. The booking process was smooth with James being very prompt and helpful with replies to questions. The flat is well thought out and decorated in a modern yet unique style, much more flamboyant and richly fitted out that most holiday lets we have tried before. Well connected TV's in each room was well received, especially by my teenage kids. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering purposes, although we didn't do too much of that as there are so many great places to eat and drink right on the doorstep. The small welcome pack of milk, chocolate and 2 mini wine bottles is a nice idea. (Although I wasn't a fan of previously used jams and butter being left for our use - or perhaps I'm extra fussy). The car carking permits are especially useful in the centre of Bath. It took a little while to find a space few times, but that's no surprise in the Christmas shopping rush. Be carful not to use the permits for parking directly outside the flat though as parking on the Fountain Roundabout is not included. My only negative is a very personal one. I did miss sunlight during the day time in the flat. I fully appreciate that it is a basement and that this is always going to be an issue, it's just that I missed daylight. That said, given the flats location and attention to detail we would definitely stay again and have no reservation in recommending the property.

This Apartment is fantastic. We went to Bath for a friends new years eve wedding in the Abbey. The location of the Apartment was Brilliant only a 5 minute walk from the Abbey, The Apartment was lovely with lots of quirky touches, We would have loved to have stayed longer to enjoy the apartment and the surrounding area. Everything you could want was there, parking was easy just around the corner on Henrietta St and you could pull up outside to drop your bags off, We would all highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit bath and would certainly return to this place if we ever come back. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

“Cool and Funky Apartment in Central Bath Location”

We stayed in this apartment for a festive December weekend and it made the perfect location for us to meet up, as we were travelling from 3 parts of the country. My daughters (17 & 21) instantly described the place as 'cool and funky' and it had everything we need for the duration of our stay (including some lovely welcome food and drink). It took us a while to find the apartment, causing one daughter to describe its location as 12 Grimmauld Place (Harry Potter reference) but once we realised it was down some steps, it was all very obvious. The front bedroom was a little noisy after pub closing time, as we live in a very rural location and are not used to city noises but it won't put us off returning. We will definitely try to stay here again the next time we visit Bath.

I stayed in this lovely apartment a couple of weeks ago for 2 nights to visit the christmas markets. The apartment is equipped with absolutely everything you need and if you appreciate gadgets and cool decor like myself then you'll love it. We instantly felt at home and were able to relax immediately. There's loads of useful information provided and the wine and goodies on arrival were very welcome! Plenty of space for 5 people, the extra single bed in one bedroom is big enough to accommodate a child or small adult. It's just down the road from Waitrose and approx a 5-10 minute walk from a mini Sainsbury store to stock up if you need it. It's literally at the end of the road leading straight into the centre so you're there in less than 5 minutes. The parking permit was so useful whilst we stayed there, just bear in mind that if you're staying for a full day at the end of your stay then you need to move your car from 11am when you give the permit back and hunt for spaces in car parks around Bath! I've stayed in Bath numerous times and in lots of different places and by far, this is the nicest i've stayed in. Family of mine are already planning to stay soon and i'll definitely be back! The apartment is in a superb location, within walking distance of many sights as well as the high street. We were amazed by the attention to detail in the apartment. It's spacious and has all the amenities you need for a holiday stay. The interior design is wonderful with all its quirky and lovely art pieces. Will definitely return!

Had a wonderful stay at The fountain apartment, the property was everything as described and more. The accommodation was very comfortable and we loved the décor and attention to detail. It was ideally located for exploring Bath with many attractions on the door step. Plenty of places to eat and drink and even on a wet day, which we had, there were lots of places to explore. Highly recommend the Thermae Spa, The Roman Baths and The Abbey , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return . Thank you for a perfect stay !!

What a superb apartment. if you're a movie buff, this apartment is for you. Modern smart tv's in bedrooms and lounge. The whole place designed by someone with a special gift. Nothing has been overlooked. Easy parking with the parking permits provided and right in the town centre! Like Arnie said, I'LL BE BACK!!

Beautifully designed apartment, with everything you could possibly need. Situated amongst great bars/cafes/shops and a five minute walk to the centre of town. James was very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to book again or recommend.
