Quinta de Barracuda is one of the most PRESTIGIOUS developments in Albuferia, boasting a perfect central location. It's virtually on the BEACH and within a 5 minutes walk to an abundance of bars and restaurants on the STRIP. The OLD TOWN is only a 15 minute walk along the beach.

Positioned on the 1st Floor with Amazing Sea Views, great for Al Fresco dining on it's large balcony. The apartment is situated in a Prime Location, just a 2 minute stroll (250m) to the beautiful sandy beach

It´s a peaceful and quiet condo, but still extremely close and within walking distance to the hustle and bustle of Albufeira and the vibrant night life.

The `Strip`is a 5 minute walk away buzzing with restaurants, bars, shops and Night Clubs.

A leisurely 15 minute stroll along the beach takes you to the `Old Town` where you'll find quaint cobbled streets offering amazing cuisine.

The Beaches in the Algarve are just amazingly beautiful and unspoilt, close to the complex you have Praia Dos Aveiros (small and secluded) and Praia Da Oura (offers an array of water sports)

Everything was as described. Theresa and Dave were great Appartment was spotless and had everything you needed even down to beach towels. Dave was on time to collect us from the airport and even called to say he knew our flight had been delayed and would be there to collect us when we landed. Theresa was there to meet us at the appartment and explained how everything worked. The bottle of milk, water and wine were very welcome. The location is amazing and is literally 2 minutes walk from the appartment, with a 20 minute walk to the old town along the beach. The strip is only 5 to 10 minutes walk. There are excellent views from the appartment and it gets plenty of sun on the balcony in September when we were there. The main supermarket is around 20 to 30 minutes walk away but there is always taxis around. There are smaller mini markets a few minutes walk away. We cooked in the appartment the whole time we were there and there is everything you need to hand. no need to go out unless you want to. Very relaxing holliday. All I can say is believe the excellent reviews, they are all true and I am looking forward to our return visit soon. Thank you Theresa and Dave Sue

This is the best apartment we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Its a beautiful luxurious apartment with everything you could possibly need to make your holiday exceptional. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach, a 5 minute walk to the lively strip which is full of bars and restaurants, something to suit everyone. The old town is a 15 minute walk along the beach or a 20 minute walk by road. Alternatively you can get a taxi for 4 euros.It was great that Theresa was on site if we needed her for anything and Dave providing then airport transfers made our holiday absolutely fabulous. Will definately be back next year. Would highly recommend a stay at this apartment in the Quinta Da Barracuda.

Great location everything within walking distance,3 mins to the beach,3 mins to supermarket,5mins to the strip,20mins to the old town by road or along the beach, cafe/bar at the front of the premises. Apartment at the highest standard and very secure,very clean rooms and the kitchen was like new including the apliances. Perfect for a couple or 2 couples,plenty of room. All 4 of us honestly had no complaints

Theresa arranged 3 rooms for us including her own at the Barracuda, it was an easy booking from start to finish. She met us on arrival as promised. We all felt instantly at home in the apartments and really did not want to go home. Perfect size, great facilities, wonderful shower(best we've had on holiday). The pool area is fab, kids had a ball and we loved relaxing there. Great location for strip and local restaurants, longer walk to old town however taxi only 4 euros. Thank you Theresa for making this a wonderful experience and we hope to see you again.

Stayed in june 2012. Great apartment in good location. 5 - 10 minutes walk to strip. 15 minutes across beach to old town. Everything you could possibly need to ensure a good holiday is avaiable in this apartment. Would definately return and can highly recommend it .Thanks again Teresa

“Great Apartment, Fabulous Location”

The apartment was great, well equipped, beautifully furnished and immaculate. The location could not have been better, 5 minutes one way to shops, bars and restaurants and 5 minutes the other way to the beach. Even the walk to the OldTown only took about 20 minutes if you went across the beach. Would definitely like to return. Thank you Theresa for making our stay so good.

“Lovely apartment, everything you could need, and good location for the beach”

We received a very smooth and efficient service from the owners throughout the booking process, airport transfers and stay. The apartment is ideally situated in a quiet complex away from the main areas of Albuferia but within easy reach if required; Only 5 minutes walk to 'the strip' and 20 minutes walk along the beach to the old town as stated in the blurb! The pool area is pleasant and an adequate beach is only a few minutes stroll away. The apartment itself was clean and spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly wish for. The children particularly liked the jacuzzi bath after coming in from the pool. The beds were comfortable, and if like us you are unlucky enough to get bad weather , there is an adequate supply of games, cards, DVDs and music. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment to others.

As we visited this apartment in May it was relatively quiet which was what we wanted & most of the time we had the pool to ourselves, we were fortunate the weather was excellent. The apartment was of a high standard & had everything you might need, whether it was a relaxing bath at the end of the day with its jacuzzi or the dishwasher & washing machine. We had breakfast on the balcony at the begiining of the day & drinks at the end. It is in a quiet area but there are plenty of restaurants about a ten minute walk away & more nightlfe if you want it. The beach is only a few minutes walk away & a 20 minute walk along the sand takes you to the Old Town where there are a variety of restaurants & shops. We probably prefered the atmosphere there. Theresa the owner would always give helpful advice. We thorougly enjoyed our stay.

Spent 2 weeks at end of march until 12 th April and had a fantastic holiday. Theresa and Dave picked us up and dropped us back to the airport for a very reasonable price of 60 euros return and were absolutely helpful and cared for our every need. Wow what a fantastic apartment with breathtaking views. Location was 5 minutes from the strip and the beach bar to the right of the main gates was like paradise. Apartment facilities were amazing and we all miss the jaccuzi bath in our apartment and the tennis courts. Booked again for October and will now go every year. One down point was the weather was a little mixed but did not detract from our holiday. Thanks Theresa and dave

“Great Place To Spend The Winter”

My husband and I recently returned from a 6 week stay at this excellent property. We have stayed in many holiday apartments over the years, and this is one of the best we have ever rented. It is extremely spacious, beaufifuly decorated, very clean and well equipped. Both Living Room and Bedroom open out to a very large balcony which has good views is ideal for open air dinning and also sunbathing (about 6 hours of sun a day in the winter) The Pool and Gardens are very well kept. The complex is located a 5 min walk to the beach a 10 min walk from the strip and only a 25 min walk to the old town of Albufeira. Everything you need for a great holiday but still in a quiet location. The added bonus was our helpful landlady Theresa was only a phone call away. I would definitely recommend a long term stay at this apartment.
