This historic and unusual pigeonnier lies in a very elevated position in the grounds of the discreet owner's home in the centre of a popular and lively village. The house with 30 steps to the entrance is built on 3 levels. It is simply and comfortably furnished for easy holiday housekeeping. The lower part of the garden includes a swimming pool and pretty vine covered terrace. The village centre offers a weekly market, shops, bars, bakers, restaurants, tennis, riding, chemist and bank. The River Dordogne, 300 m away, offers opportunities for canoeing and picnics. The fascinating Bastide town of Domme, the ‘Acropolis of the Dordogne', with its charming cobbled streets, restaurants and tourist and craft shops rises above Cénac about 2 km away. 12 km away Sarlat offers a historic town, two weekly markets and many facilities. This holiday home has an ideal location for exploring.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
