- Very Good
Just spent a few days here and it was perfect for our needs as a family of five. Plenty of space and a great location, literally a two minute walk from the village and harbour and the coastal path. A very cosy bungalow with everything you need. Washing machine and tumble dryer a godsend after a muddy walk on the coastal path! The owner Jeanette could not have been more friendly and accommodating and very kindly left a huge marshmallow lolly on each of our boys' beds, much to their delight, and a bottle of wine for us in the fridge. So thoughtful. Popped into The Stag for a drink and a game of pool and also had a meal at The Harbour Hotel although thought it was overpriced for average food on a par with Wetherspoons. £6.50 is a tad steep for a kids meal when you don't get any extras such as a drink or pud included. Sadly the chip shop was closed due to road works. There's a McColl's news agents/general store in the village which is open til 10 every night so that was very handy for basic supplies. This is a lovely little spot on the island and well worth a visit.

“Little piece of heaven”
A beautiful, comfortable cottage in a great location minutes from the sea. Lots of beautiful walks especially enjoyable with the canine member of the family. The photos do not do justice to this beautiful and relaxing home from home . Highly recommend

“A wonderful place to stay”
Our second stay at Leeside and just as good as the first. we look forward to many more stays in this perfect holiday home. Jeanette and Charles made us very welcome, and the place was spotlessly clean , this holiday rental is close to all the good things that Cemaes has to offer and is a great place to stay at

“A very relaxing stay”
The bungalow was very clean, comfortable , everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Lovely garden with sea views. It was really close to beach, and we used local shops, butchers, bakers chemist and convenience store. The village also has a library several cafes and restaurants, we had several meals at The Harbour Hotel which were very good. All in all a great holiday. Thank you.
Owner's reply: Thank you for your positive review for Leeside and the surrounding area.It was a pleasure to have you stay at Leeside and we hope you will visit us again. Best Wishes Jeanette & Charles
“Excellent Property in an AMAZING location”
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in a fantastic bungalow (Leeside) which has everything you need, it is clean and comfortable and has a lovely seaview, the location is just amazing ten minutes walk to the local pubs and beach and shops. Jeanette & Charles (Owner of Leeside) are just so very nice, nothing is to much trouble and they are so helpful, we would certainly recommend to any one thinking to book a holiday. It was our first time to Anglesey, however, out of all the places we visited we are so pleased we choose Caemes Bay, it was our favourite place and hopefully we will soon re-visit. We would not hesitate to re-visit or recommend this property as it was TOTALLY AMAZING.
“This bungalow has all you need and is in the most convenient spot.”
We stayed for two weeks in this most comfortable and well equipped bungalow. We were fortunate to meet both Jeanette and Charles during our stay and found them very friendly and most helpful. It is very convenient for the beach, shops and the local pubs which also do very good food, especially the Harbour Hotel just 2 minutes walk away! The bay is so beautiful and very convenient for days out travelling around the island and beyond. There are plenty of opportunities for walks around the coast, taking in the local wildlife. We stayed during the recent heatwave so the garden was a pleasant place to spend the hot evenings, with a barbie and a glass or two whilst watching the sunset in the bay. We did not want to leave.
“Lovely accommodation in picturesque village.”
Leeside is a lovely bungalow set in a peaceful residential area. To be able to sit at the dining table and have a sea view was wonderful. The garden was lovely with a selection of birds to add interest to our evening BBQ's. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was very clean. The property has been recently modernised and everything is fresh. Our two 14 year old girls enjoyed the close proximity of the beach and headland walks which gave them some independance and a good reason to walk the dog. The harbour pub is less than 100 yards away and allows you to sit outside with a chilled glass of wine whilst offering free internet connection. Cemaes itself has a good range of small shops and cafes and a choice of 3 pubs. We never tried the food at the local pubs so can't comment but we had a great meal at the Douglas Inn at nearby Tregele and a lovely afternoon tea at Leafy Lane cafe in Bull Bay. The jam factory is def worth a visit for their cherry jam and to see their eclectic collection of cars and signs. Cemaes is a good base for touring the many beaches and villages of Anglesey and the girls enjoyed the interactive science displays at Wylfra Power station. A very enjoyable holiday made more pleasant by the lovely owners Jeanette and Charles who gave us a guided tour of the property on arrival and quickly returned the deposit.
