Low Tide is located in the old fishing village of Cellardyke, adjoining Anstruther. All of the outlook from this traditional fisherman's cottage overlooks the sea and the garden goes right down to the sea wall. When the tide is in it comes right up to the wall. The garden is shared with our adjoining cottage, High Tide, and it has been landscaped to provide a comfortable sitting area in which to enjoy the views and fresh sea air.

Low Tide is an ideal location for couples looking for a self catering holiday without having the burden of paying for extra rooms when they are not required. It has an open plan sitting room/kitchen/dining area, double bedroom and bathroom. Electric heating. Off street parking. Sleeps 2.

The views from the back garden can be quite spectacular and with the high garden wall surrounding both sides it can prove to be quite a sun trap, at the same time giving privacy and a well earned relaxing break.

The Fife region

This part of Fife is ideal for exploring further a field. It is only an hour's drive to Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth. The area is rich in historical interest with several National Trust properties in the vicinity including Falkland Palace, Culross, Kellie Castle and the Hill of Tarvit. There are gorgeous sandy beaches close by and golf in Fife is a major attraction, boasting several highly regarded links courses, a championship course at Kingsbarns and of course the famous Old Course in St Andrews. If golf is not your thing then you will still find many attractions close by.

Cellardyke is one of a number of small fishing villages in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife. This is a fantastic location for a holiday, with award-winning sandy beaches, world class golf courses, full range of water sports, beautiful coastal walks, boat trips to the May Island and many other holiday activities close by. There are numerous pubs and eating places in the area, ranging from the famous “Anstruther Chippie” to award winning seafood restaurants. The historic town of St Andrews is only 15 minutes away.
