Villa Allegra is a bright, modern and spacious (360 m²) holiday villa in Mazzaforno, a small cape close to Cefalu. The beach of Mazzaforno is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the vicinity of the historic old town of Cefalu. From the house to the beach it is only 100 meters walking distance. The location is ideal for spending lazy days at the beautiful beach and dining al fresco in the stunning outdoor areas of the villa, or making the most of the splendid environment, visiting the Madonie mountains where many villages still maintain tradition and authentic Sicilian cuisine.
The villa is very modern and practical, but also hints at Sicilian traditions, built around a patio which is enclosed on three sides. The garden boasts plumbago, palm and jasime trees that evoke quite an exotic atmosphere. The Patio serves as the integral part of the property since most time in Sicily is spent outdoors. Large French windows separate the interior parts from the patio creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere, tastefully blending the interiors with the green outdoors. Interior size: 300 sqm.
The spacious and tasteful living room offers some striking pieces of furniture that add to its charm, centered around a high-tech fireplace dividing it into two areas (dining/living). Further to the patio there is a small garden in front of the villa, accessible via the patio/terrace with a sitting and dining area. The bedrooms are comfortable and each with en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is a large modern kitchen with central cooking island.
Interiors: GF: Sacious and bright open plan living room, dining room, well equipped modern kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom each with en-suite bathrooom (2 x shower, 1 x bathtub), 2 comfortable single armchair beds in the spacious corridor recess and one separate WC next to the living room.
Exteriors: Encompassing 1200 sqm, one furnished patio with deck chairs, one furnished terrace with pergola (sitting and dining), sun terrace on the roof (not furnished)
Good To Know: in 50 metre distance from the villa lies the Hotel Baia del Capitano. The pool with deck chairs and parasol can be rented for approximately EUR 100/week for 4 guests. The hotel also offers the use of its restaurant, tennis court, boat and bycicle rentals.

The Sicily region
Sicily, more than an island! Discover Sicily and discover the world. The world's first multicultural society, Sicily is Italy's (and Europe's) most historically cosmopolitan region, having been ruled by Asians, Africans and Europeans. Sicily is black and white and a million shades of gray.
There's no other place on Earth like Sicily. Our island is a unique place full of art, archaeology, history, folklore and breathtaking scenery. And, of course, great food. Sicily is almost a nation unto itself. The enchanting land where Archimedes taught and Saint Paul preached was a Greek colony, a Roman province, an Arab emirate and a Norman kingdom.
One of the Mediterranean's undiscovered jewels. The epitome of picturesque grandeur. Good descriptions of this captivating seaside town beneath a steep mountain. Cefalu has a beach, winding, narrow, medieval streets, and delightful restaurants overlooking a rocky coast.
All under the ever present gaze of the Norman-Arab-Byzantine cathedral, one of the greatest churches of southern Europe. Nestled between the Madonie Mountains and the sea, Cefalù's mountain boasts the ruins of a large fortress and an ancient Sicanian-Greek temple.
The view from the summit is inspiring. Cefalu is a great central point for many sights of Sicily. From here you can visit the Madonie, go walking on the wonderful 'La Rocca', attend excursions to the Etna Park, day trips to Palermo, Monreale, Castelbuono and many more.
