Description

The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms - 2 with twin beds and 1 with double. Sleeping 6 but with a cot for
that all important extra little person! On the lower floor there is a well equipped kitchen and laundry area.
A lounge diner with extending table and 6 chairs. A small settee and stool (it's O.K there is more seating to come as you will see) Units house the T.V (cable)& DVD, etc. There is also a selection of DVDs, Videos (including children's), C.D's and some all important summer reading (that doesn't always mean that my taste is the same as yours, but I have tried to be varied). There are also some toys and games for the younger (or older) set. The 2 twin rooms with built in wardrobes are also on this floor with a bathroom between.
On the upper floor is the double bedroom with large, freestanding, wardrobe. This bedroom leads to a large
shower room (wetroom) complete with toilet and wash hand basin. In turn this leads to a second lounge

large settees to seat 6 people and a second T.V. served by a wireless link from the main T.V. on the lower floor. The lower floor has air conditioning/heating and the upper storey has fans and heaters.(Electric log fire in lounge area)

Further details

A welcome pack consisting of milk, water, bread, butter, wine, beer, jam and ham, can be provided if required at a cost of 25 euros, payable on arrival.

Detailed instructions for your journey from the airport to Catral will be sent and you will be met in Catral and directed to the apartment.

From the downstairs lounge, patio doors lead to the balcony, which overlooks the pool area. It is furnished with a table and 4 chairs.
The upstairs lounge also has patio doors leading to the furnished solarium. There is a large table, ideal for eating alfresco, and 4 adjustable chairs with high backs. An ideal place to relax with a glass or two of wine after a long day. If more seating is needed, chairs from the balcony can be used.
The total living area is approx. 100sq.m.

Further details outdoors

The swimming pool is surrounded by artificial grass and is a perfect area for catching a few extra rays before cooling off in the pool.

The Valencian Country region

The Southern Costa Blanca has been designated by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places in the world thanks to the salt lakes. It is especially good for people suffering from chest problems, asthma, etc.

The temperature rises to 35*C in the summer and rarely drops below 10*C in the winter.

Catral

Catral is a small town but is well served with amenities. There is an excellent supermarket approx. 50metres away. For fresh fruit and vegetables there is a weekly market on Saturday morning, also selling flowers, household goods, shoes and clothes amongst other things.

If you are eating out you have plenty of choice, from quality Spanish restaurants and tapas bars to the Village Inn and lots more, even Chinese and Indian takeaways.

Catral is also in an excellent position for exploring. A huge selection of beautiful sandy beaches are just a short drive away, from Santa Pola to La Manga and the Mar Menor.

The train station is only a few minutes drive away. Just park the car in the station car park and take the train into Alicante or Murcia and all points in between and beyond - Cartegena or even Madrid.

There are waterparks in Torrevieja, Ciudad Quesada and, of course, Benidorm where you will also find the fantastic Terra Mitica theme park. As Catral is so close to the motorway it takes just a little over an hour to drive to Benidorm.
If you prefer to be more active, again, there is plenty to choose from. All the southern Costa Blanca golf courses are within easy reach. La Finca is the closest, only around 15 mins. drive away at Algorfa.
There are also many excellent walks in the area. Orihuela, Redovan, Callosa, Crevilliente and more.
If nature is more to your taste you have the Natural Park of The Hondo right on your doorstep and not too far is The Mata
Water sports are abundant along the coast. Full details and maps are all available in the apartment.
