The famous ' Playa ' is just 500 metres away, a beautiful beach equipped lidos, restaurants, pizzerias and a playground, while the opposite side at 300 metres to the West of Petrolo Beach a little smaller but also have other services. The sea, the mountain, the story traditions make this country an enviable cultural heritage that lies in this corner of Sicily.

Castellammare was founded as a trading post in the city of Segesta. The old fishing village of Scopello, with its Tunny-fishing nets and its Faraglioni, the coast characterized by golden sandy beaches, pristine coves and rugged with cliffs to the West as (Guidaloca Bay, Calabianca, Calarossa, stacks of Scopello and Zingaro nature reserve full of magnificent beaches, hiking trails and beaches of pebbles and sand, which are reflected in a sea, clear and calm: we are here, in the presence of one of the stretches of coastline among the most beautiful ever.

Also don't forget the Segestan Thermae, whose waters, classified as hyperthermal, sulfurous, highly mineralized, play an important therapeutic action.
