On the 'Wild Atlantic Way' East Wing of recent barn conversion on a small historic country estate (also including 239 and 230), secluded but not isolated, with uninterrupted mountain views, in an area of outstanding natural beauty right in the heart of Connemara on Ireland's west coast. With spectacular views at the foot of Cashel Hill, right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, Doonreagan offers a unique hideaway whilst still being within easy reach of popular resorts such as Roundstone and Clifden and their numerous shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. There is a pub and two 4 star hotels within a mile. While hill-walking and swimming can be enjoyed on the door-step, sandy beaches and facilities for fishing, sailing, golf and horse-riding are in the area. There is a sheltered patio with garden furniture and a landscaped garden.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is digital TV and free Wi-Fi. Cot and high chair on request. Hair dryer. All rooms have electric heaters. Deep freeze, washing-machine and dryer in shared utility room. Shared reading room with some 3000 books to choose from. Pets welcome (€25 per pet per week).
