Description

This historic log cabin near the foot of Pikes Peak, America’s mountain, is rustic and has been newly updated. It has the the original hardwood floors, tongue & groove indoor pine siding and imbues the idea of Colorado mountain living.

Kitchen lighting is superb and ceiling fans in the bedrooms help bring in the cool mountain air at night. There is plenty of on property parking for 4 vehicles.

This lush lot has aspens, pines, lilacs and wildflowers attracting songbirds and hummingbirds.

Enjoy Staying in a rustic Colorado mountain cabin that looks and feels the part of Mountain living.

Newly decorated and restored original hardwood floors with new leather furniture.

Sitting on half an acre you will feel secluded. The cabin backs to 95 acres of open space (Wallace Preserve, Wallace was one of the Vice Presidents of the United States who lived and vacationed near this property) with numerous hiking trails and also connect with all the Green Mountain Falls trails and 10.000 acres of National Forest.

Sitting on our expansive deck gives one the opportunity to enjoy viewing bears, lynx, bobcats, deer, foxes, owls and hummingbirds.

We provide complimentary coffee, teas and hot chocolate and use of grape-seed & olive oils and other sundries.

Enjoy the nearby local eateries for casual mountain fine dining at the Mucky Duck Restaurant ir head to the Blue Moose Tavern for elk sausage pizza and craft beers or breakfast at The Pantry, a legend for 65 years, all in Green Mountain Falls, 1/2 mile from the cabin and all next to the lake stocked with fish.

Public swimming pool, playgrounds with swing sets, tennis courts and basketball court are sll in Green Mountain Falls, 1/2 mile away.

Great place for a friends reunion and driving from different locations. Parking is not a problem as it normally is in these mountain bedroom communities.

Bringing your motorcycle? Plenty of room for your truck and trailer and i will let you garage your motorcycles in my detached garage while you explore the area in your truck.

How do damage deposits work?
