This charming cottage, a typical Spanish finca, is located in grounds of a well established Mediterranean estate. In the lush private garden is an abundance of olive, carob and almond trees, which also provide shade and coolness during the summer months.
Cool off in the pool, sip local wine and watch the sun set from the terrace, and dine into the evening al fresco. Steps leading up to the pool with lighting ensure the perfect summer night's dip and the terrace offers magnificent views across to the cliffs of Gibraltar and Africa.
The cottage is located on the "Puerto de la Cruz" estate on the hillside in a forested valley of mountainous limestone just five minute's walk from the white village of Casares.
Casa Ceramica is a short distance from the beach at Sabinillas; take a day trip to Gibraltar, or further afield for yet more cultural delights in Ronda, Jerez, Seville, Granada and Cadiz.
We simply love it here and hope you will too.

The Andalucia region
The province of Malaga, although the smallest in Andalusia, is the most visited for its laid back rural villages, vibrant culture, excellent weather and beaches that stretch 161 kilometres along the coastline where you can find the typical chiringuitos and try the exquisite Mediterranean cuisine. There is something for every taste in this area, peaceful walks in the mountains to visiting the busy coastal resorts, and ports like Sotogrande, Puerto Banus and Benalmadena that have a magnificent night-life and top restaurants, with many stylish boutiques and shops of all kinds.
The cottage is a few minutes walk from the picturesque white village of Casares, the most photographed of Andalucia, with it's labyrinthine lanes and streets distinctive of it's Moorish heritage. The many local restaurants and tapas bars enhance the real Spanish experience.
Take a stroll to the Moorish castle which over looks the village. Casares is an excellent base from which to explore Andalucia placed between the mountainous limestone range of Serranía de Ronda, the Straits of Gibralter and the coast offering a diversity of delightful landscapes, untouched nature and many local activities such as horse back riding, golf, bird watching, local walks and Spanish cultural events and markets nearby.
