Alcazaba Lagoon is a prestigious complex next to the Estepona Golf golf course. It is only a few kilometres to the beach and the local facilities including supermarkets, restaurants and beach bars. Situated between Estepona and coastal Casares, this stretch of the Costa del Sol offers a beautiful unspoilt coastline with the majestic Sierra Bermeja mountain range as a back.

Estepona, situated in western Costa del Sol, is a sizeable yet charming town. West of Marbella, Estepona has largely avoided overbuilding and has lovely rural and unspoilt stretches of beach, with two being awarded the EC Blue Flags. The lovely port of Puerto Banus is just a 15 minute drive away and Marbella a further 5 mins.

Estepona is in a fertile valley crossed by small streams and a mountainous area dominated by the Sierra Bermeja, which reaches an elevation of 1,449 metres at the peak of Los Reales. Here you will find a wide selection traditional bars, restaurants and shops lining the town’s quaint cobbled streets and picturesque squares, as well as the smart seafront promenade featuring a children’s play area. There is also a bustling sports marina with bars, cafés and restaurants, and a regular street market.

Coastal Casares is only a few minute's drive to Puerto de la Duquesa and Sabinillas to the west. Along this 2km stretch of un-crowded beaches and promenades, you can visit the Duquesa marina with it’s bars, restaurants and cafes. The beaches at Casares are of a very high standard, kept clean and with all necessary facilities. Some have been awarded blue-flag status for excellence. The town of Sabinillas is just a few kilometres away, offering all the amenities to make for an easy holiday including restaurants, bars, banks and supermarkets. You are spoiled for choice with beach restaurants and traditional Spanish ventas all within a short distance.
