Our apartment is on the Casares del Sol development, situated between the ports of Estepona and Puerto de Duquesa, nestling between the picturesque, most photographed, white village of Casares and the typically spanish town of Sabinillas/Manilva, and just 700 metres from the beautiful Mediterranean coast and Casares Costa. Only 30 minutes drive from the internationally famous resorts of Puerto Banus and Marbella and 20 minutes from the tax free shopping haven of Gibraltar. It is surrounded by quality golf in abundance and is immediately adjacent to the fantastic "Finca Cortesin" P.G.A. approved Championship golf course, home to the Volvo World Matchplay Championship.
The development boasts several pools and children's facilities, ample sun loungers and shade. For shopping, a short 10 mins walk along the beach and you are in Sabinillas town where you will be spoilt for choice for eatiing places, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, english butchers etc. and a fantastic open air Sunday market,

A ground floor apartment ideal for both family holidays and the elderly alike with secure underground parking with lifts. The apartment is fully furnished to a high standard and has everything necessary for comfortable living. It has a private terrace with outdoor furniture for 4 people.
The 3 pools have lifeguards (in August) and each has a toddlers pool. One pool is open all year with sunbeds and shades. The development has 24- hour security on site with a video link to front entrance and security fencing opened only by personal coded key to make your stay secure and private.
There is a personal underground car park to keep your car safe and cool.

The Andalucia region
The village of Casares (from which the development takes its name) is a short drive into the mountains. It is the most photographed, picture postcard pueblo blanco (white village) in Spain. A 'must to visit' and experience the fantastic views and quaint scenery. Gibraltar is a 25 minutes drive away from Casares del Sol for tax free purchases. From the Rock, with its renowned apes, you can easily see across the Gibraltar Straits to Africa. Ferries run frequently to Tangiers. Costa del Sol boasts an average of 320 days of sunshine a year. Estepona (5 miles) with its extensively long promenade and sandy beaches has everything for the holidaymaker.
Casares del Sol is ideal if you want a quiet time with a good book and some swimming OR a more energetic time can be found by taking a short drive along the beautiful coastline to the numerous towns within easy reach.
Casares Costa has its own chiringuito restaurant within walking distance and a superb restaurant just a little further along the main road. The busy shops are to be found at Sabinillas including Lidl, Mercadona, SuperSol and other supermarkets and all the banks. There are english butchers if required too.
