Description

Casa Caracol (81 Areias dos Moinhos) is an air conditioned two bedroom, two bathroom townhouse with Alojamento Local licence (4712/AL) in an established residential area.The south facing ground (top) floor balcony is equipped with BBQ, table and chairs for enjoying meals outside with excellent views to the sea. There are awnings if you want to sit out in the shade.

Ground (top) floor

The lounge is well furnished with seating for up to 6, coffee table, log fire, flat screen TV with IP TV for U K channels, DVD player and CD player. As well as a dining table and chairs, the dining area includes a bookcase with a good selection of books and a cupboard with cards and games. There is an internet access area with Wifi. The kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freeezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a also a shower room/WC on this floor.

A marble spiral staircase leads down to the bedrooms and family bathroom with separate shower on the lower ground floor. Both bedrooms have patio doors to a sheltered south facing balcony. There are twin beds in both bedrooms, but both sets can be zipped together to make super king size double beds. A cot and high chair are available if required.

There is also a sheltered roof terrace.

“Home from Home”

we stayed with our 2 teenage sons 19 and 14. a great place to stay with all the facilities you need including sky sports. We ate in and out.. bbq on balcony was great with a sea view. Lots of advice from owners for walks and restaurants and the pool was a great place to relax. The roof top terrace was brilliant for sun bathing and chilling out in the evenings. The walk into Carvoeiro was about 12 mins with lots of restaurants pubs and supermarkets. we had a relaxing holiday and we would recommend it ! The spiral stair case would not be suited to toddlers and you have to be reasonably fit for the walk into town. Our only regret was that 1 week was not long enough

My two grandsons, aged 10 and 12, and I valued the comfort and space of this well-appointed villa, as well as its location. We had no car, but it was an easy walk to the beach and we took a taxi for shopping where necessary. The pool was close and we enjoyed some meals at the nearby restaurant. I did a lot of cooking, we also used the BBQ, and we ate all our meals on the balcony, with its beautiful view. After full days of exploring the sights and swimming, we were glad to have quiet evenings away from the busy beachfront. We read many of the books on the bookshelves and settled into a happy routine during our stay. It was a wonderful choice for a holiday!

Having stayed in the area before we were aware of these houses but astonished at how big they were, being over 3 levels which is not apparent from the front. The bedrooms are cool being on the ground floor. As there are 3 terraces you could have sun or shade all day long, with great views. We were really impressed with the standard of the accommodation and it is far better than described. We would certainly consider another holiday here.

This beautifully presented modern townhouse is situated in a quiet area which is very well maintained. The property itself is spacious over three floors and is modern and up to a very high standard. There is access to a private pool which is shared with some of the surrounding properties but is rarely busy and we had it to ourselves most of the time. A short 15 minute downhill walk will take you to the main town where you can eat in lovely restaurants and have a drink in the bars. On arrival at Casa Caracol we were delighted to see a 'help guide' to the area which provides valuable local knowledge and recommendations for good restaurants, and suggestions for other activities including good scenic walks. A great family property which is also suitable for couples. We look forward to our return to casa caracol in August this year
