From the owner

Warm, comfortable and well equipped”... “A beautiful cottage in a great location” are comments frequently repeated in our visitors’ book. Whether a couple or small group, this charming cottage makes the perfect base for exploring the Peak District.

Godfrey Hole Cottage is recently renovated and offers a high standard of accommodation. Traditional features such as the cosy lounge with log burner are combined with modern kitchen, bathroom and internet access.

The 2 bedrooms (one double, one single) provide bed spaces for 3 people. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge offering further provision for up to 2 more guests (providing they are happy to sleep in the lounge).

All facilities in the cottage (seating, crockery etc) cater for up to 5 guests.

The terraced rear garden often catches the evening sun. It has seating and a gravelled area for playing ‘boules’.

The friendly and helpful owners live just next door at Godfrey Hole House. From here they run ’Zantium Studios’ offering an exciting programme of craft courses throughout the year.
