Lake View comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 people in 3 double luxury bedrooms, The master bedroom features a spacious kingsize en suite room with the most beautiful view over the lake from your bed. The views from the house are simply stunning offering an uninterrupted view of the water and rolling hills in the distance. Ideally placed for access to Chatsworth House, Peak District National Park, Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock Bath, Alton Towers. Fantastic walking, Cycling, trails (very safe for children) sailing, fishing and Kayaking all available on your doorstep. FREE WIFI with 10mgb superfast broadband, FREEVIEW TV. Both super king beds can be made up as twin beds if preferred...by request. Hot tub rental available at exclusive rates for deluxe tub, delivered, heated ready for arrival. Please ask. No problem to bring your own BBQ or a disposable one as long as it is disposed of carefully. Please note: we do not provide a BBQ due to health & Safety.

Lake View sleeps 6 to 8 people in 3 double luxury bedrooms, one of them having a very comfortable day bed and pullout (suitable for adults and children). The views from the house are simply stunning offering an uninterrupted view of the water and rolling hills in the distance.

The Cottage is part of the original housekeepers wing of Hopton House and has been thoughtfully converted to provide superb facilities with modern styling and elegant furnishings which are evident throughout the accommodation. A large sitting room with a logburner and large leather sofa big enough for 8 guests to sit comfortably. The master bedroom features a spacious kingsize en suite room with the most beautiful view over the lake from your bed. Luxurious Egyptian cotton bedlinen and fluffy White Co towels are included in the rental. Books, board games and range of toys also included. By request Cots, baby monitors and equipment.

Lakeview has 1 acre of peaceful gardens with secure gated parking. Very Safe for children with a small play house, swing, slide and zipwire. Also a fabulous furnished (with umbrella) terrace area with a stunning lake view for BBQs in the summer or maybe even a spot of sunbathing. The garden is southfacing so attracts the sun all day and offers plenty of space to run around or just sit and take in the beautiful views. Bikes, Boats & Hot tub/Jacuzzi's can all be hired locally. Please ask If you would like me to organise groups for rock climbing, clay pigeon shooting, karting, paint balling & Quad biking. All within a few minutes drive.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
