This end of terrace house is in a very convenient location for North East Wales, the borders and access into Snowdonia. Station View, named for the view from the back of the property over the fields to the village of Carrog with its station on the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway, is a very comfortably furnished house in a classic modern style with a lawned rear garden that features a brick-built barbecue on the patio. The Grouse Inn, Carrog, has a good reputation for its food, Corwen is under 3 miles away and the bigger town of Llangollen is under 8 miles away.

Parking: No designated parking. Can unload/load roadside to front or pull into the small garage adjacent, then park just off the main road and on side roads nearby.

The North Wales region

Wales is a place of natural beauty and diversity. The north east of Wales features some traditional seaside towns and spectacular views and is a great place to stay. The West coast has some great coastal walks and lovely sandy beaches to discover. Surfing and dog walking is popular in this area. The north west has highlights including Mount Snowdon and the Isle of Anglesey in this magical part of Wales; you will find a break here relaxing or if you fancy going for a climb then it would be adventurous. The south coast of Wales has sandy beaches but also the benefit of access some of Wales’ largest cities including the capital Cardiff. The Brecon Beacons are full of steep mountain escarpments, waterfalls and spectacular views. In mid Wales you will begin to discover the appeal of the Valleys. And finally, Pembrokeshire has jagged coastlines, secret bays and some of the finest coastal towns line this area and you can see why people return every year to holiday there.

Carrog

Corwen is a town and community in the county of Denbighshire in Wales. Corwen stands on the banks of the River Dee beneath the Berwyn mountains. The town is situated 11 miles west of Llangollen and 13 miles south of Ruthin.
