Gaze out and soak up beautiful panoramic ocean views from Kilmore Quay to the Hook Head Lighthouse. Barbecue your freshly caught fish overlooking the sea. Enjoy a drink at the local pub next door and step back in time. Or just go walking and swimming along this unspoiled sandy beach and coastline. Children are very welcome!

The apartment has an open plan kitchen/dining/living room which offers stunning panoramic ocean views.

The kitchen is fully equipped for 4 people including fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, Coffee maker, table and 4 chairs (extra chairs available), cooking oil, a large variety of spices and herbs, tea etc. There is also a 2-seater couch, arm chair and free-to-view Satellite TV and DVD player.

Guests have access to all our garden areas and washer/dryer. Our rear yard provides ample and safe parking.

Over 200 DVD's available for all ages as well as children's and adult wet suites!

I live with my German wife Conny and my 2 teenage children Shane and Fiona right next door in the main house and are available to answer your questions at any time. We love meeting new people and making them feel welcome and at home, yet we absolutely will respect their privacy.

There are plenty of activities to choose from including shore fishing, deep sea angling, swimming, walking, bird watching, horse riding, whale watching, pony-trekking, pottery classes and much more.

Carrig-on-Bannow village with 2 pubs, a take-away, church, village shop and post office is only 2 miles away.

Bannow Bay Peninsula, ideal for bird watching and well known for its natural beauty, nice sandy beaches and historic Norman sites - 5 mins

Ballyteige Burrow and Kilmore Quay Fishing Village with its colourful marina, traditional fishing harbour, pubs and restaurants. Visit the uninhabited Saltee Islands from here, very popular with birdwatchers - 15 mins

Hook Peninsula, ideal for walkers & bird watchers with its beaches, fishing villages and the oldest operating lighthouse in the world - 30 mins

Baginbun Beach, the Normans landed here in 1169 - 20 mins

Wexford Town, seaside town with many attractions incl its world renowned annual Opera Festival and great restaurants & bars - 30 mins

It is a big bonus to have your own car or hire a car since rural public transport is pretty much lacking. We do offer our guests the use of our 2 bikes (children's bikes can also be organized). There are daily buses from Wellingtonbridge to several major cities including Dublin.ding daily buses to Dublin.
