Description

This is one of 10 well-presented 3 bedroom holiday cottages which are located in Carraroe Village in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht and set amongst the stunning beauty of Connemara's landscape. A truly fantastic location for touring and exploring Connemara, Galway and the Aran Islands. Shops, Bars, Restaurants and Cafes are just a short walk away. The wonderful Blue Flag Beach "Trá an Doilín" is just a short drive away and other nearby activities and attractions include fishing, walking, cycling, sea kayaking, golf and many more. Carraroe is also host to Coláiste Chiaráin, a summer school where many people attend in Summer months to learn the Irish language and experience Irish culture in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht. The unspoilt Aran Islands lie in Galway Bay not far from the Galway and Clare coast and the Cliffs of Moher on the West coast of Ireland. Take a day trip and travel by ferry or air. Ferries operate to the Islands from the nearby harbour at Rossaveal, less than a 10 minute drive from the lodges. Flights to Aran leave from Inverin Airport, just a 20 minute drive away from the property.

3 Bedroom – sleeps 5. This traditional holiday cottage is part of a group of 10 cottages, located at the edge of Carraroe Village in the Connemara Gaeltacht. The ground floor accommodation includes an open plan kitchen, dining and living room with comfortable furniture and a wood burning stove. The living area opens on to the garden area with outdoor seating. Also on ground floor level is a single bedroom and family bathroom with electric shower, WC and sink. Upstairs you will find a mezzanine bedroom area with two single beds, a WC, and a closed off double bedroom. There are ample spaces for Children to play, including a small playground on site. Wi-fi available on site. No pets. Cot and highchair available. Linen and towels included. Electricity is metered on usage and is payable to the caretaker prior to departure.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
