“Lovely house in a quiet setting.”

Reviewed 3 Jun 2019

We had a lovely holiday in Lismore. The house is well equipped with fantastic views across the sea to the Isle of Arran. Comfy beds and a wood burning stove. Very cosy place. Nice garden with private seating area and plenty parking space. Lots of bird life and great walks straight from the house - Carradale Bay was a favourite - if you get the weather it’s a beautiful place to spend the day with hardly any other people and a huge white sand beach. The local shop has closed down but there is a temporary shop next to the village hall with limited opening hours. Drumfearne is a great cafe to eat in. Only negatives of our stay were there are no harbour views from the house as advertised - although it is close by. Also the showers had not been cleaned when we arrived. This may have just been an oversight but it was an annoying start to our holiday to have to clean them.

“Fantastic cottage in beautiful Carradale”

Reviewed 29 Jul 2017

This recently refurbished cottage is very well appointed and decorated with very comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. The kitchen and lounge are open plan with great views towards Arran, ideal to relax in. Gardens are also lovely and well presented. Close to the village centre and backing onto the wee golf course, it is in the perfect position to enjoy Carradale. We will be going back.
