Trulli Sabini is a typical Apulian farmhouse located in the scenic area of Carovigno, small town between the cities of Bari and Brindisi, both with aninternational airport. The area between Carovigno, Cisternino, Ostuni and Locorotondo is famous throughout the world for its Trulli, the typical buildings of conical shape once used to store the fruits and olive, but also for farmers. They hold the right temperature also during the hot Summer season. Now many Trulli have been converted in luxurious mansions, equipped with all the modern appliances. The Trulli Sabini are part of a historic home, a larger estate since 1400 was an ancient place of spiritual retreat for monks and nuns of Brindisi , which later became the residence of a noble family of Southern Italy. Customers will always be assisted by the staff of the estate who lives a few meters from the villa.

The farm is located just a few minutes from the beautiful oasis of Torre Guaceto, seven miles of beautiful beach and crystal clear water, but for lovers of history and cultural traditions I Trulli Sabini can be a great starting place for easy access to the nearby Ostuni and Martina Franca yet, Alberobello, Cisternino and many other "pearls" of the High Salento. The Trulli Sabini are also perfect for exploring the lower Salento, the tip of the heel of the "boot" with beautiful examples of Baroque Leccese, the white Otranto and the historic city of Bari.

The property is situated in the outskirts of Salento, a magical land where you can discover typical traditions and flavors of this marvelous region.

The Trulli Sabini are part of a larger estate, immersed in an oasis of peace just 5 km from the center of Carovigno. The portion for rent is completely separate from the rest of the farm property and due to its location and its terraces offer stunning views of the unspoilt countryside of woods, olive trees, Mediterranean plants and colorful flowers.

From the ancient gate of the villa a path will lead you to the large garden divided into three major areas: one part with a lawn shaded by a large weeping willow and some fruit trees, a second  terrace equipped with table, chairs and chairs for outdoor dining and refreshed elegant white curtains connected to the living room. From a wooden door you can lead the third area of the garden: the pool area. There you'll find sun decks sofas and chaise longue, two large parasols and a 10 meters long pool of elliptical shape. Other terraces are also present on the second floor of the villa in addition to the large roof terrace, these spaces are accessed from the bedrooms of the villa.

Accommodation

The Trulli Sabini are composed of a main villa on two levels and a dependance whith an independent access from the parking and from the garden.

The main house is spread over two floors. The main floor opens into a large foyer with a powder room. Worthy of note is the collection of Neapolitan shepherds of the nativity scene, which goes back till 1700.

From the entrance an hallway begins which gives access to a fully equipped kitchen, decorated with tiles cotto and antique hand-painted ceramics.

On the other side therei is a study with double sofa bed that can become a comfortable double bedroom. The hallway leads into a widest common room. The large living room is composed of several areas furnished with attractive and sought after antiques. The furnishings are well mixed to advance some elements and modern rugs , in order to ensure a pleasant effect. The lounge has a corner with the big old fireplace and a TV with other sofas, another corner host a dining area with a table, that seats up to 10.

The first part of the living room is connected to the garden through a French window giving access to a terrace with chairs and a dining table.

A second part of the living room is composed by a lounge area with sofa and the flat screen tv and a reading area.

From the hall a staircase leads upstairs where we find the right one single bedroom with its own bathroom and left a living room that leads into the master bedroom with its own bathroom with a bath and the other side in a twin room with its own bathroom en suite with shower.

All the upper floor rooms are featured of barrell vaults in stone. The 2 double bedrooms has access each to a private terrace.

From the garden you can enter into the annex consisting of a double bedroom, a large bathroom with bathtub and a well-furnished living room with sofa and tv flat screen. The annex is connected through a large french window to a patio with a scenic view on the valley full of olive trees.

Each independent bedroom is furnished with simplicity and sophistication, mixing modern and sought elements to antique furnishings. Two bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, TV and a private bathroom .

Things to do on the property or in the immediate area:

- Wine tours can be arranged in the region Manduria located at half an hour to the villa. Take a guided tour followed by an eno-gastronomic tasting of typical products from the area.

- Forest - 15 hectares of nature where you can ride a bike, jog or simply stroll among the Mediterranean vegetation and do a bit of bird watching.

Spa Treatments - Massage treatments in house upon request.

- Take a tour at the zoo safari in Fasano ( 35km), and true experience through the savage Nature with animals from all the world who live free into 140 hectares of Faunistic parck with blackberries than 1700 exemplares of 200 different species .

- The Beach - the closest is just 10 minutes away: Torre Santa Sabina and the Natural Oasis of Torre Guaceto with transparent waters and fine sand.
