“Stunning modern rural retreat for couples with great views whilst only minutes from creeks coves and walks.”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2016

Set back from a leafy lane and looking north over fields and valleys towards Truro and beyond, this stylish apartment occupies all the upper floor of a modern detached building with only a garage below. Apart from the owners house there are no other buildings nearby so peace is assured. Equipped with everything needed for staying in whilst located ideally for going out to explore the lovely gardens creeks and coves of the Fal and Helford Passage by car, foot or boat.

Thank you for your descriptive review, we hope you will be back in the near future, Best wishes, steph and Andrew

“One word, fantastic.”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2016

Stayed here for 2 nights, and only problem there was that we wanted to stay for more! Absolutely fantastic property in a perfect location, the view is glorious. Very modern and there is everything you could possibly need especially a nice cooked dinner in. We will definitely be coming back again, outstanding. Many thanks to Stephanie and Andrew, brilliant hosts.

Thank you Daniel for your review, we hope to see you in the near future, Best wishes, steph and Andrew.

“Excellent modern countryside apartment for a couple”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2015

Very comfortable and well equipped with all modern conveniences and everything of high quality. Completely private with superb views across countryside. Just 10 minutes from Truro, a lovely city, and within easy reach of many other beauty spots. Friendly helpful owners. We would have liked a bathroom door but we are perhaps a bit old fashioned!

Thank you for your review, we hope you'll come back next year, kind regards, Steph and Andrew .

“Perfect in every single way”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2015

I cannot recommend this place enough. Firstly, the location and the views are absolutely stunning, and made full advantage of by the huge window and balcony (which is the main thing that made us pick this place in the first place). The kitchen had every utensil you would need (and things such as oil). We were also so happy and pleased by the touch of the wine, fudge, teas and coffee and scones upon arrival, and the even a picnic basket was provided! Every tiny little detail has been thought of, they have gone above and beyond to make sure you have a exceptional stay. The accommodation was immaculate, and finished to the highest standards, and the bed is one of the most comfy we have slept in. For all we'd known, we could have been their first visitors! Whilst visiting, we took days out to Newquay and St. Ives, which are only a 30-40 minute drive. Though passing through the town where the lodge is located, I imagine there will be much to do (as mentioned in the welcome guide they give you, with numerous recommendations and menus for local pub and restaurants which was another nice touch!). Also despite feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere, due to the peaceful, beautiful location, there is a large superstore just a 10 minute drive away, which is handy. We will hopefully be back here soon, it's complete relaxing luxury at a more than fair price. Thank you for such a nice weekend away.

Thank you for your detailed review Charlotte, we're glad you enjoyed your time here , , we've yet to try the bed as it keeps popping up in the reviews.Hope to see you in the near future , , RegardsSteph Mcgovan

“Didn't Want To Leave”

Reviewed 12 May 2015

From the moment we pulled up to the apartment our mouths were open, acres and acres of Daffodils stood before us and from that moment we were both relaxed. Truro was beautiful, the apartment was close enough to explore the different towns surrounding. On our trips we visited Falmouth town and Mevagissey which has a beautiful harbour. We truly didn't want to leave. The apartment itself was so much more than we expected two huge home made scones, clotted cream and jam were waiting for us in the fridge as well as an array of kitchen appliances so you could bake if you wanted to, this apartment is perfect for short and long stays! We can't wait to come back here. We've been so chilled out, thank you to the owners for making our stay so special.

Thank you for your detailed review and hope you will visit us again soon, Kind regards, Steph and Andrew
