Situated on South Lakeland Leisure Village which has been the proud recipient of the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and is a Visit Britain 5* Park. The private lake is suitable for fishing, kayaking, wind surfing or sailing (using your own equipment). The lodge benefits from private balcony overlooking lake. The cabin is located just 50 yards from small beach area, large playing field, leisure facilities, beauty suite and restaurant. Guests can use the private leisure club (pool/steam room/gyms) on site for small charge payable to the Leisure Village. THE ACCOMMODATION IS STRICTLY PET FREE we are unable to accept pets no matter how small or well behaved.
With a variety of numerous activities in the local area, the lodge is ideally located for those wishing to explore the surrounding countryside and activities or just relax and recharge, with onsite facilities such as Leisure Center, Pool, Steam Room and Gym, Waters Edge Bar and Restaurant and beauty treatments there's something for everyone. Wifi is available on site charge payable to Leisure Village.
GUESTS ARE ADVISED THAT DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID 19 SITUATION THE RESTAURANT AND BAR ALONG WITH OUTSIDE SEATING AREA WILL BE OPEN FROM 10 JULY 2020, OPERATING ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. NO DATE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED FOR THE OPENING OF THE GYM AND POOL AS YET
A deposit of £100 will secure your booking with the balance due 4 weeks prior to stay. A refundable security deposit of £100 is required to cover breakages and / or non-return of keys. To be refunded within 7 days of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). The lodge will be available from 4pm. on the day of your arrival and should be departed by 10 a.m. on the date of departure. South Lakeland Leisure has a privately run leisure complex, Guests at the Leisure Village are able to use the private leisure facilities for an additional charge payable direct to the leisure village operators.

The lodge consists of two double bedrooms, master double bedroom benefits from spacious en-suite shower, washbasin and toilet. One twin bedroom and a separate spacious family bathroom which has a shower attachment, bath, washbasin and toilet. An open-plan living area with a corner sofa and two seater means ample space for all, separate dining area and a self contained kitchen with all the equipment you will need during your stay. A spacious lounge features panoramic views from floor to ceiling of the picturesque lake and surrounding hills. The lounge area contains a feature fire place with flat screen LCD TV complete with free-view, a DVD and CD player. Selection of board games available. The open plan dining area comfortably seats six. Fully fitted kitchen with integral appliances: Full size Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Electric Oven, Gas Hob. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, dishes, pans and utensils. Laundry facilities are located on site. The hallway leads to the bedrooms and bathroom and has a storage closest for outdoor shoes and coats. Elegant double bedroom with leather bed, fitted wardrobes, en suite bathroom and flat screen LCD TV with Freeview and DVD. Second double bedroom has large double wardrobe and chest of draws, Twin bedroom with floor to ceiling wardrobe, chest of draws and bedside table. Bed linen is provided but guests need to provide their own towels for personal use and swimming. The pool, steam room/sauna and gym are located in the lesiure complex, please see notes below re charges WiFi is available in the cabin however a charge is payable for this service to the local provider should guests require this. Free WiFi is available in bar and restaurant on site.

Access is gained through a security barrier by pass only, 5mph speed limit operates through the park. Parking for 2 small vehicle outside the lodge and additional safe parking approx 50 yards away beside leisure complex.

“Great lodge & a fantastic New year”
The lodge is lovely with a modern finish and plenty big enough. The setting is lovely & peaceful but with plenty to do near by. The on site restaurant hosted a lovely meal & a brill party for New Year’s Eve. I would definitely book again
“A very attractive cabin?”
Set in an extremely peaceful location overlooking a lake. This cabin had everything we needed. The beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We had easy access to the M6 or the surrounding countryside. The owner had put together a book of all the local places of interest. Thank you for a most enjoyable break.
“Comfortable cabin well equipped perfect retreat”
The cabin was clean and comfortable, well equipped. It is in a good position very near to falicities. It is an ideal retreat. It was quiet even in the School holidays. We dined at the Lake side restaurant which was excellent. I would book here again.

“Really nice stay and cabin”
The cabin was lovely and had everything that we needed during the stay. The site was brilliant with good facilities and the lake was very enjoyable and we were able to go out on the kayaks. Brill stay overall.
