“Fantastic!”

Reviewed 13 Jul 2012

Had a brilliant time here. The lodge is wonderfully equipped - simply a home from home. Hot tub a lovely addition to the beautifully kept lodge. A pleasure to deal with the owners who went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Will definitely be back very soon. Thanks for a brilliant time.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, I hope you come and stay at he lodge again sometime , many thanks, Kelly.

“Superb accommodation.”

Reviewed 9 Apr 2012

Wanted to surprise the children this Easter. Decided that to keep them happy and entertained we needed somewhere with easy access to a swimming pool, somewhere for them to safely ride their bikes and a bit of luxury for Mum and Dad...a private hot tub!!! Told the children we were just looking round the lodge to see what they were like - once they had explored we asked them if they would like to stay for 3 whole nights!!! We will NEVER forget the look on their faces - they were thrilled. The hot tub turned out to be a luxury for them too - they loved it! Stayed local, and ate in most nights, as the children were happy to do this. Had a lovely day out in Grange Over Sands - very peaceful. Morecambe....well...the kids were happy for their "penny fall fix" - but other than that - nothing to write home about! South Lakes Wildlife Park was good value for money, and was enjoyed by all! Thank you Kelly - for our lovely break.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, I hope you all come and stay at the lodge again sometime , many thanks, Kelly.

“Lovely welcoming home from home”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2011

This was our second stay at this log cabin in 8 months. Kelly, the owner, has been a pleasure to deal with throughout and I would not hesitate to recommend this property. The cabin itself is extremely welcoming and spacious - everything you could possibly want as regards home comforts etc. The site really is first class - it is quiet and understated and that suits us perfectly. We didn't need to use the onsite pool on this second stay (lovely as it is) as kids were perfectly happy with hot tub. As regards location etc. we had a day in Bowness (20 mins drive) and on both stays visited the Greenlands Farm Village just down the road. Would recommend the kids pottery sessions there (leave the kids creating their own masterpiece whilst you enjoy a quiet coffee for an hour). Tesco and Booths just 5 mins drive away in Carnforth for everything you need. Perfect! We are all looking forward to booking a third visit which says it all really. Thanks Kelly for sharing your home with us.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, I hope you all come and stay at the lodge again sometime , many thanks, Kelly.
