Yr Hafan is the perfect central destination for families and couples looking to explore this area, with the renowned Brechfa Forest the perfect day out, being popular with walkers and mountain bikers alike; keep an eye out for the red kites sweeping through the valleys. Newcastle Emlyn is host to an array of art galleries, craft shops and antique shops, or you may want a visit to the local theatre. Travelling along the River Teifi, you will come across the picture-postcard Cenarth Falls - time it right and you may spot a leaping salmon or two. A short drive from Yr Hafan is the Gwili Steam Railway which is a stunning route going through the Gwili Valley. Llandysul is 9 miles away, and is home to many canoe competitions as well as the Llandysul Paddlers (one of the Centres of Excellence for Canoe Wales). If you prefer to discover the rugged and scenic coastline, Cardigan Bay is within easy reach for a fantastic day out. Beach 17 miles. Shop and restaurant 8 miles, pub 3 miles.
