Description

Tigh Fraoich is situated above Talisker Distiilery and has wonderful views up Loch Harport to the Cuillin Hills beyond. To reflect the high build quality to house is furnished to a high standard and has achieved the VisitScotland(STB) rating of 5 stars. The lounge, to the front of the house has views of Loch Harport & the Cuillin beyond, is furnished with 2 x 3 seat leather sofa, a coffee table, a wifi enabled TV, Samsung docking station, compatible with most devices, to play your music on. To the back of the lounge is a separate study/snug if you need to keep in touch with the "outside" world via broadband. The kitchen is fitted out with everything needed to make your cooking preparation easy. We have a full sized dishwasher, an upright Fridge/Freezer, full sized Bosch oven and hob and also a washer-dryer. The dining area is just off the kitchen and equipped with 2 sets of crockery & glassware. Upstairs we have two large bedrooms both with their own en-suite shower-room, however, if you prefer a bath there is a family bathroom downstairs. The bedroom has built-in hanging space, dressing table, kingsize bed, bedside tables and TV with incorporated DVD player. The whole house has central heating, underfloor downstairs & radiator upstairs. We have also installed a heat recovery system, not to recover heat but ensure that the atmosphere in the house is as wholesome as possible. As the fresh air is taken into the house it passes through filters which extract some of the particles in the air, the system will extract the stale air from the house. “Stunning”

We stayed for 4 nights at Tigh Fraoich on our honeymoon with our best friends from New Zealand..we had such a wonderful time and wish it had been for a lot longer. The place is beautiful, very clean and everything is brand spanking new and to a high specification...I loved the LED lights on the stairs! I would highly recommend this place as it is central to everything, Talisker distillery 2 minutes away and a great local pub.... We loved it...I very much hope to visit again. Thanks for a great stay.

We were totally blown away by the quality and location of this cottage. The views down to the bay were stunning and to be able to sit having breakfast whilst viewing this did not get boring. The view from the living room was possibly even better. The cottage was very clean and it felt that we were the first ones ever to use it. Warm and very well appointed, there was little that could make it better. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and the beds were to die for. The location was ideal for the Cuillin and also not far from Portree. Parking was ample and simple. Good responses from the owner as well.
