No 4 Sandy Lane is a luxury two bed, two bathroom duplex apartment with a sea view which has recently been stylishly refurbished.

It is located just a 5 minute walk from the stunning Carbis Bay beach. St Ives, with its vibrant cafe culture, galleries & restaurants is just a walk along the coastal path or 1 stop on the regular coastal train.

The apartment has two luxury double bedrooms, with TVs, one with an ensuite shower room & the other with adjacent bathroom with a bath.

There is an open plan, well equipped kitchen & a large dining area. Bifold doors open onto the sea view balcony. Here you can sit, listen to the sea & enjoy the view with a glass of wine.

The oak staircase from the dining area leads up to the spacious lounge where you can relax in comfort & enjoy a movie or access the internet on the smart TV. There are also loungers in the quiet seaward facing area where you can relax with a book from our small but well stocked

The new owners welcome well behaved pets (& their owners!) Please note whilst dogs are allowed on Carbis Bay Beach between 1 October & 1 April there are other dog friendly beaches available locally all year around

Conditions There is a 25% non returnable deposit. The rest of the funds are payable eight weeks before arrival. We suggest clients to take out their own holiday insurance incase of cancellation.If there is cancellation by the client within the eight weeks prior to arrival the whole amount will be payable . Cancellation by owner if for any reason beyond our control eg fire damage the property is not ready on the date booked all rent will be refunded in full . The client shall have no further claim against the owners.The number of Persons sleeping in apartment is strictly ltd to the stated capacities. Arrival time is after 3.30 . Vacating the property is by 10.00am of day of departure ,

We are very strict with this as our cleaners will be waiting to access property therefore if they are kept waiting there is a charge of £50 .

We expect the property to be left in good order

E.g. Bins emptied , washing up done , left in good order .

There are seven apartments in all at Sandy Lane no 4 is to be found on the first floor . There are three apartments on ground floor three on first floor and the penthouse above. There is a Numbered parking space with the apartment no on .We are a Five minute walk to Carbis Bay white sandy beach where you will find a cafe serving hot and cold food ,alchohol , ice creams and homemade cakes also kyak hire on beach . it is 5 min walk to the train that takes you by coast to the beautiful st ives. We are five min walk to Tesco you really do not need to bring a car there is plenty to explore by foot. You can open the bifold doors from the kitchen where a glass of wine can be enjoyed on the balcony listening to the sound of the sea .

The Apartment is a five minute car journey into the beautiful St Ives where you will find cobbled streets with lots of local art work , Numerous Resturants to choose but best of all Carbis Bay and St Ives are known for the beautiful white sandy beaches with crystal clear seas that have won lots of awards. The apartment is 15 minutes into St Ives By foot on the stunning coastal walk or a two minute walk to the Carbis Bay train station where you can take a coastal ride into St Ives . There is also a very good bus route with regular buses. Carbis Bay is also a good base to go to the Lizard point or to visit St Michaels mount or to experience the Minack Theatre this is an open air theatre in Porthcurnow. Lands End is just up the road from Porthcurnow and is a must to visit.

Carbis Bay

There are lots of activities In Carbis Bay and St Ives. There are local horse riding where you can experience some of the most beautiful National Trust trecks. There is the Tate Gallery , Barbara Hepworth, Leach Pottery . On Carbis Bay Beach in the season they offer Kyaks and outriggers for hire. There is the September festival in St Ives. New year is really celebrated in St Ives with lots of fancy dress and bands.There is also the St Ives lesiure center where you can swim or use the gym there are also lot of classes you can take. In Carbis Bay we have playzone which is great for children full of indoor slides and soft play area for little ones. Golf is great in Carbis Bay as you have two Golf courses one to your left and one to your right from apartment lelant .Golf course is a 18 hole links course stunningly beautiful with golf pro and shop there is also a nine hole course at Tregenna Castle.

Getting around

You can catch the push and pull train which takes you by coast in to st ives this is a ten minute walk from the apartment . Or a taxi journey in 2017 would cost around £8 -£10 There is also a bus stop nearby Or you can enjoy the coastal walk which is roughly about 30 minutes .

“Has the 'wow' factor.”

The property is in Carbis Bay - approx a 20 minute walk from St Ives which is a pleasant stroll with excellent views.However, there is little going on in Carbis Bay at night so if you need more entertainment in the evening then perhaps St Ives would be more suitable. That said, the property is stunning and whilst we were there you had a great view of the sea through the trees. You can sit on the balcony outside and enjoy this view or perhaps even from the mezzanine lounge area in the apartment - a sun lounger is provided. It had all the mod-cons you could wish for: a lovely well-equipped kitchen, nice en-suite, good size bathroom with a deep bath and 4 TVs all with DVD players. There are a couple of minor issues that could do with resolving before this property could receive a truly '5 star' rating though - some fixtures and fittings need attention such as the tile grouting in the main bathroom, handles need fixing back and toilet roll holders need re-attaching firmly. Also, the mezzanine level was very cold in the evenings (admittedly it was a cold week anyway) but no matter what we did the under-floor heating downstairs made some areas there too hot, which meant the bedroom also got very hot and at times too uncomfortable for sleep. The owners did provide throws for upstairs which is thoughtful - they were definitley needed though. Another minor issue we had was that the main TV would not link with the DVD player - although I'm sure they will attend to this problem in time. The property was very clean indeed and the owners were very obliging. We would highly recommend this property to a couple looking for a quiet week away in a lovely location. There are plenty of great walking opportunities in the area to enjoy and lots of places to eat and drink at in St Ives.

Enjoyed a wonderful few days in what has to be one of the best apartments ever. Nothing has been overlooked, you want for nothing. We agree with everyting that has been said in previous reviews. The beds were amazing as so was the settee. Sleep was never a problem. The location was brilliant, near enough to St Ives so that you could walk taking either the coastal path or the main road. If that is not for you then the train station is near by and buses run regularly. The weather was a bit hit and miss (as you would expect in February) but wasn't a problem because we thoroughly enjoyed staying in the apartment just reading, watching one of the four tv's and even completing the jigsaws that were there for all to enjoy. Would definately book again, hopefully soon.

this apartment was fabulous. from the easy and helpful dealings with Kelly pre arrival,advice on fresh fish delivery, arranging an alternative for week two that was great. The apartment has all the things that you need and all the things you want on holiday but usually make do- stylish kitchenware, port glasses, espresso coffee machine everything you can think of. The bed westernmost comfortable I have ever slept in in a holiday apartment which was such a relief as I arrived with flu. easy access to Carbis Bay beach, tracks and St Ives. We have stayed in a lot of holiday accommodation and this was superior in every way, from Kelly and Johns warm friendly and attentive hospitality through to the the apartment and all furnishings and fittings, to the smart tv and the comfy cosy mezzanine lounge, to the location.....sublime fantastic thank you both so much we will be back!

We had a relaxing stay at 4 Sandy Lane. The attention to detail was excellent. This apartment has been the best we have ever stayed in especially with all the little extras that you don't normally expect in a rented accommodation. Carbis Bay and St Ives are well worth a visit. We did the coastal walk to St Ives and the transport is excellent to and from St Ives. I wish this accommodation was nearer to Scotland. Would definitely highly recommend to others.

We had a really lovely week staying at Sandy Lane. As it has only just been completed everything about this apartment is very good with many extra touches that help to make a very comfortable stay. We had only one complaint and that was about the ensuite shower room, the wash basin is far too small and not really of any use except for a quick hand wash. If we had been sharng the apartment with another couple it would have been a problem. Other than this all was perfect. Wonderful views, very convenient for the train into St. Ives, easy parking, very quiet. The fixtures and fittings are excellent with fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers. A welcome pack and cream tea on arrival as well as free toiletries in both bathrooms not to mention the four televisions and free wifi. Really I don't know why I am writing this review as it will only encourage other people to stay and I should b keeping it for myself and friends.

Really lovely flat which has everything you need. Beautifully laid out & luxurious . Everything brand new and classy. A great place to go on holiday, Weather was superb. Flat a few mins from beach!
