Beachcroft is a beautiful, detached gentleman’s residence, dating back to the 1930s. The house and its grounds have undergone complete renovation, and many original Cornish features have been retained, including an internal, orginal 1920s door. Beachcroft now provides a luxury haven for guests, with quality furnishings, comfortable spacious bedrooms, which are all en-suite, and 21st-century technology, including a state of the art media room with a 65" Smart TV and a quality sound and lighting system throughout the property. For the surfers amongst you, there is storage for boards, a wet suit hanging area and an outside shower.

Beachcroft sits in a quiet residential area and is convenient for beaches. Summer months are truly breathtaking with palm trees, golden sands and clear blue skies, making it a retreat where one can escape, relax, unwind or basically just chill out! You are encouraged to make yourself at home, whether it be curled up in front of the wood burner in the living room, taking in the sea views from your bedroom, or relaxing sipping cocktails on the patio watching the sun set!

This property is located just a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Carbis Bay beach, which is just a 10-minute walk away, and the main coastal path. Guests can stroll to St Ives in one direction or head to Carbis Bay and Lelant in the other, allowing you to leave your car in the safety of Beachcroft’s own private drive. Carbis Bay has a great café culture, with quality restaurants or places to grab a snack and enjoy spectacular views.

Porthminster with its wide sandy beach is popular with families and a great stop off en route to St Ives. Fishing, walking, water sports, cycling, surfing and kayaking are just a few of the activities available. Wildlife including dolphins and seals are regular visitors to the waters. Porthmeor beach attracts surfers and families with its pure white sand and rolling surf. The area is famous for its magical light qualities, attracting many artists down the years. The town is home to many galleries including The Tate Modern and The Barbara Hepworth Museum. The area has a vibrant calendar of events including music, food and art festivals. There are plenty of local pubs serving great food, a variety of tea rooms and streets with many individual shops.

For golf enthusiasts, West Cornwall Golf Club is just a short 5-minute drive. Tregenna Castle Hotel is within walking distance and also boasts a great golf course. Good road links enable you to explore further afield to the historic town of Marazion, with St Michaels Mount rising from its rocky outcrop, this can be explored on foot at low tide or by small boat at high tide. The sea faring town of Penzance with its pirate history or the quaint harbours and villages of Mousehole and Newlyn are all within easy reach. Beach 550 yards. Shop ¼ mile, pub 500 yards and restaurant 150 yards.
