“Fantastic Cottage!!”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2015

The cottage was lovely, made extra special by those extra little touches to make it a home from home it was really well equipped, a very big thank you for the extra day given to us by the owners! (and the wine!) When I contacted the owner, he was very welcoming and helpful and I knew if there was a problem he'd be available to help! As it was February and the cottage was a bit cold it took a while to warm up but the fire in the evening was lovely and made the living room really warm. The beds were really comfortable and there were extra blankets etc. The cottage was reasonably close to larger towns and to the lovely village of Betws-y-coed which was really nice. I would love to stay in the cottage again but maybe when the weather was a bit warmer. It is ideal if you are on a walking holiday as it is situated near to lots of walks etc.

we are pleased you have had a great holiday thank you for taking the time to do a review for Galar Deg

An amazing cottage located in a quiet village setting boasting superb views. Why not wander down to the local for your dinner or take a stroll around the corner to the riverside chocolate house - the hot chocolate really is a must! Stunning walks and hikes are just on your doorstep or for the more adventurous you can take a short drive to climb a mountain! High ropes activity centre is not too far if you are feeling brave! The cottage is immaculately clean and all you could need is provided. In the morning drink your coffee looking out at rolling hills from your four poster bed. Dalar Deg has all you could want and more!

“Lovely cottage with homely touches”

Reviewed 14 Nov 2014

We were offered this cottage last minute as our previous booking fell through 24 hours before! I am glad to say we were more than pleased. The cottage was lovely, clean, warm & set in a beautifully quiet location, which was just what we wanted. The owner called us that evening to see we had settled in & made us feel very welcome. Tea, coffee & milk awaited our arrival & even a bottle of wine (which went down very well).

“tranquil cottage!”

Reviewed 7 Oct 2014

Dalar Deg is a beautiful cottage it has everything you need and more besides, like a roll top jaccuzi bath! The surrounding area is very quiet, on our many visits we have enjoyed walks in to the small village where the locals are friendly and the pub offers very nice food. I would recommend anyone to stop at the old school house for their homemade scones or picnic near the stream.
