White painted wooden gates open into this development from the lane almost directly opposite the entrance to Ickham Green. Here there is also space for wheelie bins etc.

Along the front of the cottage itself are attractive borders planted with a variety of flowering shrubs and bushes with space for garden bench or small table and chairs etc. Beyond this property further along the courtyard a door leads through to a path running along the rear of the properties with a fence along the opposite side through which gates lead to the gardens of the cottages. The rear garden to Number 1 is a good size and surrounded on all four sides by timber fencing with a timber garden shed in one corner and paved patio area. The remainder of the area is laid to gravel with a border along one side planted with a Fig tree and a raised vegetable bed to the opposite side. There is a timber framed log store and this area appears to attract plenty of sunshine.
