Lovely 1/2 bedroom Sea View apartment. Lovely views of the Mediterranean from the living room and the large 15 sq mtr balcony. Suitable for 1-4 adults maximum and 2 children. Freshly painted with newer furniture. Equipped with a sofa with full size comfortable pull out bed, new memory foam Queen size bed in main bedroom, flat screen Smart TV with Sound bar, linens and towels provided. There is a 2nd small cabin bedroom suitable for children old enough to safely use bunkbeds. The kitchenette is fully equipped with cooking utensils, glasses, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and all that is needed for a self catering holiday.

Located in Villa Francia resort complex which has a large Infinity Pool overlooking the Cannes harbour and the Mediterranean. It also has Tennis courts, a seasonal restaurant and bar, a grocery store and a shuttle into Cannes during summer months. There is a 2nd pool for occupants of this building if you prefer a quieter experience.

The apartment is suitable for up to 4 adults (2 in the main bedroom and 2 on the full size sofabed in the lounge) and 2 children in the cabin size 2nd bedroom that has single bunkbeds.

The apartment is located approximately 1.2 mile from Cannes Harbour and 800 meters from the beach. There are buses outside the complex that go into Cannes, and a free summer shuttle from the resort. However, a car is recommend for this location and their is secure parking.

There is a shared washer and dryer room in the complex, and a grocery store on site that has milk, vegetables, wine and many other grocery items (limited open hours during the winter).

The apartment is in Croix Des Gardes area off Leader Blvd and below the beautiful nature walking trails of Croix Des Gardes park and its fabulous views of the mediterranean. The apartment itself is one of the larger apartments in the complex at approximately 44 sq meters. The cable TV includes channels such as the BBC news, French and German channels, and the TV is a Smart TV with Sound bar stereo speakers that can be used to play music of your Ipad or Iphone, laptop or other smart device.

Note: Once a week cleaning is included in the price when booking for 7 days or more. For shorter visits a 65 Euro cleaning fee needs to be added to the total charge.

This apartment is in the far right corner of the complex, which is quiet, and has no other buildings in front of it so the views of the Mediterannean are good. The 2nd pool outside of this building are for occupants of that building only and so tends to be very quiet even during the summer months. The restaurant at the Infinity Pool has very reasonable prices for both food and wine. There is an extra charge to reserver the Tennis court. There are several golf courses in the area. Two in Mandelieu and one in Mougin.

Great areas to visit other than Cannes are: Theoule Sur Mer town and beach, Mandelieu la Napoule, Juan Les Pins, Cap D'Antibes, Antibes Old Town, Mougin and Nice. There are 2 markets in Cannes, and other markets held in Antibes.

Interaction with guest

I do have a local person who you can call if there is an issue, or an emergency such as losing the key. That information will be provided in an information document prior to your booking dates, and also the lockbox access code and secure garage code. Also, there is a small shop on the ground floor of the main entrance building that is open during the morning and evening on the quieter months, and most of the day during the busy months. They stock wine, water, food and most other items you would need.

Hi Gary, glad you enjoyed your stay. I agree that a car is better in Croix Des Gardes because it is a 20-30 minute walk into Cannes, which is too long for many people. There is a free shuttle from the resort that takes guests into Cannes during the busy months, but perhaps you were unaware of that service. As for the walk to the apartment, there is a shorter way to go which is not via reception. Sorry if my instructions were not clear on that route through the garage, but glad Aziz was there to help you. I also can provide portable air conditioners for the apartment during the hot months and will make that more clear to future guests moving forward. Thanks again for staying at my apartment. Stella

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stella (the owner) a message.

If Stella (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
