Description

This beautiful 4-bedroom villa is located on one of the hilltops above Cannes and Gofle Juan in the prestigious Super Cannes. It is ideal for family holidays or a break with a group of friends. Tranquility is the word to describe this villa located on a small ring road far from bypassing traffic and other disturbing noises with its own gate, landscaped garden, huge terraces and private swimming pool.

The house has two levels with a large lounge / dinner area and a kitchen located on the bottom floor whereas the four bedrooms are located on the second floor. All bedrooms have wooden bamboo floors and opens up to a large balcony with views of the Mediterranean and direct access to a covered terrace and the swimming pool area. The house also has a roof terrace with panoramic views of the bay of Golfe Juan, Cap d'Antibes and the Alps.

The villa has approximately 175 square metres of accommodation with four bedrooms, large living room, kitchen, bathroom, shower and two WCs. The living room is bright and spacious with high ceiling, large windows and balcony doors leading out to the front terrace. The living room also has satellite TV, DVD, stereo with iPod connector as well as a wifi internet connection. The large kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances and have direct access to the front terrace through its own balcony doors. There is also a separate laundry room and a WC located on the bottom floor.

A granite staircase leads up to the second floor where the four bedrooms are located sharing one bathroom, one shower and a separate WC. All bedrooms have direct access to the large balcony that stretches around the house and provides access to the roofed terrace and pool area. Two of the bedrooms have 160x200 double beds, one has a 140x200 double bed while the last bedroom has two 90x200 single beds.

Les Karias is set in a terraced Mediterranean garden of about 1,400 square metres with lavender, jasmine, and olive trees. There is a large terrace in front of the house overlooking a lawn with its olive and mandarin trees. Two paths, one on each side of the house, leads to the back of the house and its large grassed lawns and impressive eucalyptus, oak, and fig trees that surround the pool area. The pool is 10x4.5m set in a stone tiled terrace and with impressive walls built in local yellow stone.

Overlooking the pool area is the covered terrace where ten people can easily be seated at a wooden teak table. Stairs are leading up from this area to the roof terrace where stunning views of the Mediterranean and the Alps can be enjoyed.

“Great stay on the Riviera!”

We had a lovely holiday in this quality villa. It is furnished to a high standard and had plenty of room for our 2 families. It's in a quiet residential area with just a short drive down the hill to the beach and boardwalk areas where you can find lots of good restaurants overlooking the water. We were particularly impressed with the serenity of the place and the pool area is amazing. We spent many afternoons sitting on the roofed terrace overlooking the pool and the beautiful hillsides.

“Fantastic villa with superb pool”

This villa is absolutely charming! The location is right in the most sought after neighbourhood of Cannes with fabulous views and close access to all ameneties, and is peaceful and private. On arrival, our welcome was friendly and we enjoyed discovering all the different facets of the property. The pool was stunning - in fact better than I have seen in villas more than twice the size. The property was clean and well presented and the facilities were superb. Our children had the time of their lives playing in the vast pool and watching cartoons and DVDs on the TV in the evening. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen which made life so convenient. There are many different terraces in the villa, which allowed our group to enjoy many varied ambiences either seperately or together whenever we pleased whilst all being in the same property and being able to move from one area to another. One evening there was a spectacular firework display on the coast which we all watched from the upper balcony. There are many restaurants nearby and having cars enabled us to explore the surrounding areas. One day Monaco, another day the mountains, another day the beaches, another day St. Tropez. There is so much to do here that we will definitely be returning to continue with our many and varied discoveries. I wouln't hesitate in recommending this villa, my only worry would be that if too many people book it, it will be more difficult to reserve it for us next time!

Perfectly situated in the hills above Cannes, Golfe Juan and Vallauris. Breathtakin view over the Gulf and the hills. Perfect poolarea and a very nice patio outside the kitchen. We spent many hours there. The house is very well kept and lacks no kitchen utensils or equippment.

The villa is in Vallauris, which itself is nice with all the amenities you could require - shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc - but the villa is ideally situated for a quick drive to Golfe Juan with its lovely beaches and harbour side restaurants and an easy traffic free run to the famous La Croissette in Cannes. Throw in some of the gorgeous villages (Gourdon in particular recommended), Harness Racing at Cagnes Sur Mer, Antibes Land, Marineland and the waterpark (v.busy) for the kids and Monaco is an easy day trip away and I would have no hesitation in recommending the location of this villa as perfect. The villa itself is nicely laid out and well equipped and private and the gardens are an excellent size both to the front and rear. The pool is the biggest and deepest that we have had in our time visiting the south of france - that extra couple of metres length and foot or two of depth really does make a big difference. There is also a rooftop terrace with truly stunning views. We rented this villa in 2010 and came back in 2011 and will almost cetainly be back in 2012.
