Enjoy all the attractions of Cannes and the French Riviera: sea and sun; a wide variety of attractions to see in Provence; sport and entertainment all year round.Particularly suitable for those who enjoy peace and quiet in a self-catering apartment, away from the crowds, but close to all amenities and attractions. Essential details: newly renovated, fully furnished & equipped, the apartment has two double bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with two single beds + double sofa bed in the living room. Sleeps 4/5 people comfortably. Fully equipped American kitchen, utility room, shower room & separate toilet, spacious living room with dining area and balcony.Apartment on the 2nd floor, safe and secure, with beautiful views of the Estorel, but no lift, so unsuitable for those with disabilities. Reserved parking space near the entrance to the apartment inside the private, gated grounds. No swimming pool.The apartment is not equipped nor suitable for babies, toddlers and children

It is just a 5-minute walk from the railway station and bus stops, 5 or 10 minutes walk to the sandy public beaches and 5 minutes walk to shops, Provencal market, restaurants etc.No pets of any kind. Smoking allowed only outside on the balcony.The rental prices are for the apartment and not per person. They include expenses such as water, electricity and central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided. End cleaning is also included, but is limited to 4 hours work, normally more than sufficient. Extra, if needed, will be charged at €14/hour.Minimum stay one week.Discounts for longer stays. Flexible changeover days.

Enjoy the temperate climate all year round, the seaside and sunshine for classic family holidays, or for those who want 'to get away from it all' at any time of year. See breathtaking panoramic views from the Estorel and other headlands around the famous coastline - accessible by car, by bike, on foot, by train or bus. Travel West along the coast to visit Antibes (15km), Juan-les-Pins (15km), Nice (25km), Monte-Carlo in Monaco and Menton (62km) or over the border to Italy (70km). Alternatively travel East along the coast to St.Raphael (37km), Frejus (35km), St Tropez and the Hyeres (70km), or even Marseilles (170km). Don't forget to explore the Provencal countryside, from its valleys and vineyards to its spectacular mountains such as Mont St.Victoire (146km) and gorges, such as the Gorges du Verdon (60km), sleepy villages, historic Roman sites and medieval castles, as well as towns, such as Grasse (18km), famous for its perfumes, (accessible by train from Cannes Le Bosquet station, two minutes walk from the apartment), or places much loved by artists, such as Le Cannet (8km), St.Paul-de-Vence (33km), or Aix-en-Provence (146km). There are a range of small ski-resorts in the mountains about 90 minutes drive away from Cannes, or further afield in the Alpes Maritime, at Isola 2000 (130km).

Cannes

Cannes, the pearl of the French Riviera, its world famous film festival, its beaches, harbours and marinas, a transport hub with ferries to the Lerin Islands, buses and trains to access the rest of the Cote d'Azur and further afield in France or Italy. A luxury city with big brands and gourmet restaurants, but also with an historic quarter, mainly pedestrianised, so easy to explore. Discover the daily fish, flower and local produce markets, little bars and cafes. Visit museums, churches, galleries in the 'Old Town', close to the promenade or take a guided tour round the Film Festival Centre. Fine views of the distant snowy-peaked Alps, the broad sweep of the coastline with rocky headlands and sparkling blue sea when strolling to Les Croisettes. Plenty of entertainment on offer all year round for all ages and tastes - from the casino, nightclubs, live music, theatres, cinemas, exhibitions and concerts. “Very spacious, comfortable, well equipped apartment in a good location”

We rented Les Eglantines for a short break in February and had a fantastic stay. The apartment was easy to find (in the dark!) due to the excellent directions and has its own allocated parking space in a well maintained, gated area. The apartment was clean, well equipped and very spacious. We both commented how comfortable the settee and chairs were! Due to the fabulous weather, we were able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the lovely views. The sea and shops were an easy 5 minute walk. There were excellent public transport links so not necessary to have use of a car. We enjoyed the local small, sandy beaches, and walked along by the sea into Cannes. We would happily go back to this apartment as it's so spacious, airy, well equipped, a good base for exploring the Cote d'Azur.
