From the owner

This bright and comfortable 2-bedroom apartment (80 square meters/860 square feet) is on the 1st floor (American second floor) of a 16th-century house and was completely restored in 2012. The ceilings have exposed red-larch beams original to the house and the pavements are in Venetian terrazzo throughout the apartment.

The apartment, well furnished with a mixture of contemporary and antique styles, overlooks the Venetian lagoon. From the living room windows, the island of Murano is easily admired.

Every attention to detail has been made during the renovation. The independent kitchen is fully equipped with Miele appliances and the luxurious bathroom (with shower) is outfitted with Villeroy & Boch bathroom fixtures. The main bedroom offers a king-sized bed plus there is a single bedroom. In both bedrooms you will find the peace and quiet you need to relax during your stay.

The spacious living room has a sofa bed (200x160). The apartment can accommodate up to six guests.

The owners have outfitted the apartment with every comfort: air conditioning in each room, TV, hairdryer, independent heating, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator. The apartment is fully stocked with linens and the kitchen has all the necessary tools included.

The apartment is situated in a central but quiet position. Its ideal location allows you to visit the city, both on foot and by public transportation services. The Rialto area is reached in 10 minutes, St. Mark's Square in fifteen minutes. The nearest boat stop, Ca' d'Oro, is five minutes from the apartment; from there it is nine minutes to the train station and 12 minutes to Piazzale Roma, the link to the mainland. The Fondamente Nuove boat stop is very close to the apartment and from there, one can take the boats to the airport and to the wonderful islands of Torcello, Murano and Burano.

Restaurants, shops, banks and museums are just a short walking distance from the apartment.

The owners live on the floor above the apartment and fluently speak and write English, French and German and are available to help at any time. The price is inclusive of all expenses.

The apartment is located in the Cannaregio district, which is home to the Venice's Jewish Quarter and the Ca' d'Oro, one the city´s most beautiful palazzos and an obligatory stop for any visitor to Venice.

This apartment is ideal for all types of stay, whether you are travelling with family or friends, on a business trip, or simply looking to escape the stress and traffic of modern cities and enjoy a bit of peace and tranquillity in the beautiful lagoon city of Venice.

How do damage deposits work?
