Welcom to Casa Lénas, a luxury holiday home, situated in Candolim, North Goa, India.This pretty traditional antique filled Portuguese cottage is a very beautiful old villa which its original charm, fully renovated to todays standards and will be your ideal home far away from home. Perfect for families with children or couples.Casa Lénas has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms with all attached bathrooms and can accommodate up to 7 adults. It's is fully furnished and designed in Portuguese architecture 'Old Goan Style'. The garden around the cottage contains a large patio area with veranda, providing privacy and shade. It is set in a quiet neighbourhood and situated only 2 min. walk to the magnificent Candolim beach.

Interaction with guest

At the house our caretaker, Libertina will welcome you, explain everything and hand over the keys. There will also a welcome package with some drinks, food and other first necessities. The house will be daily cleaned for you as well as the garden. If you have special requests, like cooking, washing, etc, everything can be arranged.


This rental can only be paid for online through Holiday Lettings using your credit/debit card or PayPal (never by bank or wire transfer).

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind words. We always travel after monsoontime to Goa for maintanance. We think it's important that our high standards will make our guests feel at home. We receive many Western guests, the luxurious appearance and maintenance of the villa we find very important. Because the owner is a European lady, the appearance is accordingly with prejudice to the Goan culture. Unfortunately, during the monsoon time the internet sometimes falter. “Feel at home!”

Spent a long weekend here with my husband and parents during high season (Diwali). The house is lovely to look at and very comfortable to live in. For the price, I don't think it can be beat. The two bedrooms and attached bathrooms downstairs have good beds, nice high ceilings, and beautiful mosaic bathrooms. The third bedroom upstairs is less luxurious. We didn't use it, but whoever did would have gotten the short stick. Perhaps send the kids up there if you have them? Highlight of the house is having tea in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening on the porch in back, which is quiet and pretty private. The kitchen has basic items for tea and toast but not really for cooking. We ended up having to buy oil and salt and pepper for a dinner at home. In terms of location, the beach is about a five minute walk and many restaurants around 7-10 mins away. The grocery is about ten mins walk. Also, the housekeeper is very nice and professional. Finally, there is place to park your car if you have one.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lia (the owner) a message.

If Lia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
