The villa is located a short distance to the 18 hole golf course and spar hotel with multiple pool complex (open Feb 08). The site is well served with a communal pool (summer), supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, dentist, medical facilities, bowling alley and internet cafe for that all important home contact (Low cost tel. calls available). The communal pool has a bar, cafe and restaurant within an enclosed area.
The nearest beach, marina and markets are at Puerto de Mazarron15 mins drive away.

The area is a centre for a huge choice of activities on sea or land including a national park close by with its own activities available through our contacts at Cardinal Travel at their rates with no extra charge from us.

There is a large communal pool (summer) with cafe, restaurant and riding school on site.

GOLFERS are particularily well catered for with an 18 hole course on site and one of the top Spanish courses 'Hacienda Del Alamo' course designed by Dave Thomas within 15mins driver. There are also 8 other courses designed by Jack Nicklaus within an area ranging up to one hours drive away.

The location is home or holiday base for many Brits and has a very friendly, welcoming, atmosphere.
This makes the area, which has one of the lowest crime rates in Spain, ideal for families, couples or friends wanting a mix of relaxation and activity.

The villa is fitted with HOT AND COLD AIR CONDITIONING units to service both up and downstrairs. The lower bedrooms have additional heating. All bedrooms and the lounge also have ceiling fans. The villa design and the tiled floors also help keep it cool in summer.

New SATELLITE TV has been installed Nov 2008.
There is an INFORMATION FOLDER provided at the villa to advise on the facilities in the villa as well as all the activities available including water parks, safari park and a host of activities to suit all interests in the sea or on the land.

The Region of Murcia region

The COSTA CALIDA has a mild mediterranean climate with average 320 days sunshine per year. Winter temp
10-22degree and summer 18-38 degrees. The costa has 250km of coast line and is a large agricultural region producing mainly fruit and vegetables. Housing development in the area has been controlled and lower level housing predominates. Developers are required to retain 40percent of the developed land as 'green field' areas. There are many places of interest to visit from the ancient city of MURCIA founded in 831AD by the Moors to the scenic splendour of the Sierra Espuna national park or the beautiful beaches within easy reach.

Camposol

CAMPOSOL is a modern complex set on a low lying valley with a panoramic mountain range back cloth. It isn't surprising that many people holidaying here never leave the site as there are many attractions. These include a 18 hole golf course (25euro per round) with large modern club house open to the public looking out over the course. There is a driving range(1euro per tub), and the club has evening/weekend entertainment. A Spar hotel due completion Feb 2008 with public access to bar, restaurant and large ornate pools area. There is a supermarket, shops, restaurants (Chinese, Italian, Spanish, fish, pizza and Indian), bars with entertainment, bowling alley, Internet centre(for low cost calls), DIY store, Medical centre, Dentist, Pharmacy, Garden centre, Gym, Horse riding stables and large communal pool (3 euro) with bar,cafe, sunbeds.
MAZARRON, the nearest town, is a short drive away. It is a typical Spanish town and offers all the facilities you would expect to find in a market town including both a daily indoor market and a Saturday outdoor one. The port (Puerto) of Mazarron is close-by where a new marina has being built. The port area has an excellent beach with many beach-side cafes and a tree lined promenade ideal for that relaxing evening stroll. Puerto de Mazarron has a large Sunday market.
The local area of Mazarron offers: Sailing trips, Diving school (P.A.D.I registered) Hill walking of all levels and many other activities which can be organised through our contacts at Cardinal travel using british speaking guides/coachs. Walkers can organise guided walks through Dragontours on sector A of location for €10 to cover walk, meal and drink.
Festivals are held in the area during the months of Jan, Feb, Mar, Jul and December. The town of Lorca (45 mins away) with its hill top fort is excellent for shopping. The ancient city and port of Cartagena is also 45mins away and is well worth a visit for shopping or site seeing. Unlike some of the more developed coastal parts of Spain the area has a very low crime rate.
