Casa Barclay is a, luxurious extended villa, with 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, secluded private pool, walled garden, alfresco dining area, well equipped home which would suit 2 families stay.

The two levels offering 2 bedrooms on each level and connected via an internal stairway allows, the two families enough space to share the communal areas, with easy access to private bedrooms.

The lower level of the villa comprises of the large glazed sun room which is used as an additional family living / dining area with sofas plus seating an additional flat screen TV, Air Conditioning, ceiling fans, log burner, plus an extra dining table and chairs seating 6, retractable awnings to keep this room cool and well shaded in the height of summer, direct views over the swimming pool so great for Mum & Dad to keep an eye on the children. Plus large wide steps to give access to both the garden and the swimming pool. There is a further shaded area at front entrance to the villa has extra seating which overlooks the garden.Great place to relax with a coffee & book, or glass of wine in the evening.

Main Lounge Area:- a large spacious open plan area with formal dining zone , which has been furnished with a large corner sofa and further seating. UK satellite TV, surround sound, iPod docking station, ceiling fan and an additional log burning fire. The villa also has broadband internet.

The modern galley style kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay. . There is also a serving hatch from the kitchen to the sun room, allowing meals to be served in the sun room overlooking the pool and the garden.

The villa has central heating to all rooms, AC and ceiling fans to all bedrooms allowing the villa to be used for holidays all year round.

The master bedroom, which is located on the this level, has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and full en_suite bathroom, bath with overhead shower, bidet, toilet, hand basin, towels.

The second bedroom comprises of twin single beds, fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan.

There is also a further walk in shower room on the lower level.

The upper floor has two further bedrooms, which can be accessed via internal stairs allowing the villa to be shared by 2 families or extended family or friends. One bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room and flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a two single beds that can be converted into a large double bed. Both rooms have ceiling fans.

A large and spacious solarium surrounds the upper level, with additional seating areas and stunning 360 degree views of the countryside to the distant Sierra Espuña mountain range.

In the main private garden area you will find the pool with outdoor pool shower, a covered dining area with BBQ, sun beds and seating, parasols and outside toilet facilities. A mature garden surrounds the villa with secure off road parking for 2 cars with outdoor lighting. The washing machine is located inside the garage.

The Murcia region

Casa Barclay is situated on the Costa Calida - the Warm Coast, Murcia. Its is located within a short distance to the seaside town of the Puerto de Mazarron and benefits from over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather per year. This particular area is loved for the unspoilt beaches, rocky coves and coastlines, lively towns and cities during summer months, yet returning to peace and quiet in winter. Just a short drive from the villa and you find yourself in the mountains and National Park of Sierra Espuña, ideal for hikers and nature lovers alike. Slightly further afield are the historic and bustling cities of Cartagena and Murcia where you can combine centuries of history with fantastic shops and boutiques. To add there are many tapas bars and restaurants serving local, fresh produce, especially fish and seafood. Just outside Murcia city centre there is a Water Park / Zoo. Along the coastline you will find remains of old castles, forts and watch towers, including the famous Guns at Cabo Tinoso.

For the sports lovers, the Murcia Region has many 18 hole golf courses including La Manga Club near Cartagena and the newly designed La Torre Golf Resort, Roldan. Closer to home Casa Barclay is located minutes from The Clubhouse Golf Resort.Mazarron, Murcia.


The town and port of Mazarrón, in the heart of the Costa Cálida in Murcia, offers visitors a rich artistic heritage and a range of interesting leisure options on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The Bay of Mazarrón is sheltered by the last foothills of the Sierra de la Almenara, a mining area since the Carthaginian era.

There are over 35 km of beaches, unspoiled coves and rocky seabeds make this the ideal place for relaxing in the sun, enjoying nautical sports including scuba-diving, and sampling the local gastronomy. In the port, the newly refurbished marina and dock, as well as indoor the fish market are a chance for visitors to learn more about the town its seafaring traditions

Another way to truly appreciate this, is by visiting the Roman Salt Preserving Factory Museum , which features part of a large industrial complex dating from the 4th and 5th centuries which was used for producing foods preserved in salt.

The defensive towers on the Los Caballos peak are just a stone's throw away.

The Bolnuevo Erosions, sandstone monuments sculpted by the water and wind, are another sight well worth seeing. It is a famous local backdrop for photos.

The town of Mazarrón lies three kilometres inland, and is the site of the church of San Andrés with its Mudéjar offering, the convent of La Purísima, and the ruins of the Vélez castle. The economic development of the early 20th century led to the construction of emblematic buildings in the style known as Murcian Modernism, including the Mazarrón Town Hall and the former Cultural Athenaeum.

There are many local fiestas, which are well worth seeing and being a part of. The main ones include; The Fiesta del Milagro (The Fiesta of the Miracle), which is celebrated on the 17th of November and runs through until the 18th of December. It is where the locals carry the Virgin de la Purisima from Mazarron Town to Bolnuevo and celebrates when the Virgin appeared to the invading Berber pirates and saved the town of Mazarron and its inhabitants. Others included the coming of the Tres Reyes Magos (The Three Wise Men / Kings), where the kings arrive on boats in the Puerto de Mazarron and then are paraded through the streets offering sweets and presents to the children. Another fiesta well worth viewing is the fiesta of the Virgen del Carmen, who is the patron saint of Fishermen and is celebrated on the afternoon of the 16th of July. The local fishermen, along with their boats set out from the harbour and parade the Virgen from the port to Bolnuevo. Other fiestas not to be missed are the carnivals in Mazarron Town, usually in February and in the Port, in July. The costumes, music and atmosphere are not to be missed. With every fiesta, there is plenty of music, food and drink and a true way to really appreciate local life in Spain.Camposol is a small urbanisation that has grown and developed over the last several years. It has plenty to offer to visitors including its own Medical Centre, Pharmacy, several banks, a large supermarket with several smaller shops. Weekly indoor and outdoor markets. Plenty of bars and restaurants, with nightly entertainment, quiz nights and bingo. Also live sports events are shown. Camposol has its own18 hole golf course, with driving range, clubhouse and restaurant, with live entertainment nightly during the hot summer months, a great place to dance & dine.
