Camber Sands Holiday Cottage - close to 7 miles of sandy beach, The Castaway is an attractive two bedroom weather boarded cottage with a double bedroom & twin bedroom with family bathroom. Downstairs Cloakroom, Sitting/Dining area with a separate kitchen and outside decking area & pebbled garden.

The Castaway is in the award winning Whitesand area, peaceful location overlooking a reed-bed and stream. The light and airy interior is furnished in an appealing contemporary style and has a pretty, south-facing pebbled garden with decked area idea for summer dining. Travel Cot and High Chair provided with a selection of toys. Great for summer days on the beach or long wintry walks and back for tea and crumpets! Small welcome pack on arrival.

“Nice house, near to beach”

We've been there for one week an had an nice stay. Getting the keys was a bit complicated in the beginning but the problem was solved within a minute by a phone call. Nice beach just a walk away. We had a great time

Stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding at The Gallivant Hotel. We arrived at the cottage and it was a pleasant surprise. Clean, tidy and a little welcome treat for extra points! Amongst many lovely cottages this was a lovely location near the beach. We would love to stay here again and defiantly recommend this cottage to others. Our only negative is we found the heating a little tricky, we were a bit cold with our 9 month old so would of liked the radiators on low so we had her in for a bed share instead of using the supplied cot. Otherwise a very pleasant stay!

Great location close to Camber and Rye. Accommodation high quality, clean and comfortable. Linen and towels appreciated. Key safe, tv and cupboards difficult to access for 5ft tall tenants. Difficult to lock and unlock patio doors. Suggest shelves provided in bathroom for toiletries. Garden a little neglected. No WiFi access.

We stayed at the end of July 2016. The house is lovely, modern and fresh. It had a really well equipped kitchen, a lovely bathroom and a downstairs loo (a bonus with young kids). We found the house a good location to explore the south coast. Our holiday highlight was spotting seals at Rye Harbour nature reserve. Our kids loved the food at Simply Italian in Rye, we advise you to book during peak season, we were lucky they fitted us in as walk in customers. I also would like to say thanks to the Carolin who was very prompt with responses to any queries I had before our stay. Highly recommended.

A wonderful weekend away in such a beautiful little house. It was very spacious, clean and really felt like a home from home. Camber sands was so close and we loved going there for long walks everyday. We visited Rye on the Saturday (which was only a 9 minute drive) and absolutely loved it there. We would love to return to The Castaway one day!
