“Sandy Feet at Xmas”

Reviewed 28 Dec 2017

Fantastic time had by all the family in this beautiful, comfortable holiday home. Everything you need is here for 5 adults and 1 baby. So lovely to be able to take our three well behaved dogs. Beach is in walking distance and one of the sandiest ones I've seen, the dogs loved it, as well as the sand dunes. To be overlooking Romney Marsh is an added bonus. Fully recommend for a Xmas break, we took a tree and decs with us, and hope to be back for a summer holiday. Happy New year 2018 everyone!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. It was great to have you to stay. Kind regards Alison

“Lovely place to stay”

Reviewed 10 Nov 2016

We had a fantastic week at Sandy Feet. It's a lovely house and had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed there stay there. It's a short walk from the beach so is perfect for summer holidays with the kids. Alison and Vaughan we’re easy to deal with and we’re helpful and timely with their information. They we’re even kind enough to mail some clothes we had left behind.

“great family holiday home”

Reviewed 31 May 2013

Very high standard accommodation. Fresh and new and nicely decorated. Everything you need is provided. Short walk to the sandy beach. We ate in apart from 1 night where we had Fish and Chips from down the road, which were nice. Lovely views over the countryside. We will definitely revisit.

“Wonderful stay in Camber Sands”

Reviewed 18 May 2013

We had a fantastic long weekend at Sandy Feet. The house was perfect - imacculately clean, well kitted out, all very new, lots of space in the kitchen and big living room. We were 2 families with 4 small children and they especially loved the house. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and living rooms were spacious and we were even lucky enough with the weather to enjoy the patio garden and wonderful view of the sunset. Camber Sands was an easy 5 min walk away and it is one of the loveliest beaches we've been to. Incredible that somehwere that lovely is only a 2 hour drive from London. Hours of fun clambering around in the sands dune, collecting seashells, building gigantic and complex sand castles and splashing around in the shallow waters despite the chill. Take a picnic and PLENTY of changes of clothes! Thank you for a brilliant stay. We're looking forward to doing a return trip very soon!

“First class, stylish, child friendly accommodation”

Reviewed 16 May 2013

This lovely holiday home is far more spacious than it appears from outside. Set on a small estate of purpose built properties only 5 minutes walk from the Sands, it is ideal for friends, families or in our case, a 3 generation combination. Much thought has gone into the decor and furnishing of the property and also to the equipment. So often, holiday homes offer the minimum, but this has it all, especially so far as the children were concerned: an enclosed patio garden, safety gate, highchair, bumper seats, cot, toys, books, wii, dvd's, beach equipment etc.... The beds were comfortable as was the sofa bed situated in the separate sitting room which we kept as a 'bedroom' using the large kitchen/diner as our living quarters. We only stayed for a long weekend and sadly the weather was not conducive to sandcastle-making or paddling, but we visited wind blown Dungeness - an extraordinary 'apocalyptic' scene - and scrabbled about on the vast stoney beach collecting shells and 'mermaid's' purses and found Derek Jarman's amazing beach garden. A visit to Rye is a must, with its antique shops, quaint cobbled streets and history. We had a celebratory dinner at the Landgate Bistro which we would highly recommend

“Superb family accommodation”

Reviewed 15 May 2013

Excellent location - beach is only a short walk over the dunes and our kids loved the long stretch of sand. Very comfortable, well equipped, modern house which is spotlessly clean and lots of small touches which make it very child friendly. We loved the open plan kitchen/diner which opens onto a great decking area with views over the marshes. Highly recommended for families or friends travelling together - we will be back!
