“Best Birthday”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2015

I had my birthday weekend here with friends and family. We were blessed by the best weather imaginable so we were swimming, fishing, walking and cycling. The cottage is well equipped for a large party of people and is comfortable. It has a lovely garden and it was part of the pleasure to sit outside, soak up the sun and do nothing more than read a good book. It is in a very quiet location at the end of Camber Sands and near to the beach. We had a a truly memorable weekend!

“Fantastic place to stay”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2015

Loved the fact that we we're so close to the beach which was empty so had it to ourselves pretty much all of the time. The cottage was great. Very comfortable and clean and well cared for. Had a superb week. Would definitely go back.

“Lovely cottage, great location, brilliant short stay”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2015

We hired the cottage for a birthday for a short weekend (Friday and Saturday) and ten of us stayed. The cottage is beautifully presented and the close proximity of the beach (30 seconds walk) meant we could have a long picnic on the beach, and in the evening made use of the BBQ. We'd definitely recommend it and hope to come back for a longer stay.

“Beautiful home in a fantastic location”

Reviewed 13 May 2015

A fantastic home, beautiful decor, very clean and tidy and Marta is a very amenable and helpful host, with great restaurant recommendations. We loved our break from the city, and the house is in a perfect location right on the beach. Thanks again Marta for letting us stay in your home.

“Beautiful property with a very well equipped kitchen in a beautiful location”

Reviewed 11 May 2015

Beautiful property with very well equipped kitchen in a beautiful location (though somewhat dependent on decent weather, being on the beach!). The cottage is stunningly decorated, with comfortable beds, excellent wet room with powerful shower, great kitchen and a small but comfortable living room. Our only reservation was its suitability for young children- there are lots of steep stairs and you need to bring your own high chairs and cots. Other than that, highly recommended. We will return in the summer with older children!

“Instant Chill Out”

Reviewed 17 Apr 2013

This cottage is unlike any cottage we have previously stayed in. It is light, airy, roomy and well planned and thought out. Its location is unbeatable - right next to the sea. There were sea views from our room and the view from the loo across the bay takes some beating! Even the MOD land behind added to the atmosphere. We loved the log fires, BBQ and well equipped kitchen. It made cooking a pleasure. My husband went fishing in nearby Dungeness and my son and his friend loved playing on the beach when the tide was out. It was an amazingly relaxing weekend and we felt as though we had been away for ages.
