Very Good

“Fantastic stay”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2018

Wonderful place - recently built house, well laid-out with everything you need! The location is great, just a short walk to Camber Sands beach and various walks. Rye is just a short drive away too. The information provided in advance was great and the concierge service provided by the cleaning company was very good, highly recommended place. We had a fantastic time and will return!

Lovely cottage, very close to Camber Sands - ideal for walks on the beach and eating delights at The Gallivant and The Owl. we stayed for a long weekend and the cottage is warm and cosy and well-appointed. It is clean and has everything for your stay. We loved it and hope to return. really easy to book - Laura communicates all information quickly and responds to all questions. if you are staying in Camber I would recommend booking this place

“Couldn't be better”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2017

The cottage is a few minutes from Camber Sands beach in a quiet residential area. Easily walkable with three grandsons, buckets, spades and a windbreak. The cottage is well equipped and well thought out. Lots of books and videos if needed. Very comfortable beds. Three toilets! A small but neat garden with a table, chairs and BBQ. Just lovely. I would certainly go back.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to write a review, I really appreciate your lovely comments and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Warm wishes Laura

“Tolles Haus, gerne wieder”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2017

“Perfect holiday stay”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2017

Clean, neat cottage equipped with everything you would need, lovely and quiet little neighbourhood and a really short walk to a beautiful beach. We visited when it was really hot and sunny but the beach was still not to crowded as it is such a large bit of sandy beach. Not a lot in the way of local food, we tried to eat in the local pub the Owl on the Sunday and Monday but they weren't serving food so best to bring groceries with you. We came without a car and with a dog so we were pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy it was to get to The cottage from Rye by bus. Would recommend to anyone.

“Long Weekend Stay at Sea Holy Cottage”

Reviewed 6 Jun 2017

We arrived Friday afternoon and thought what a beautiful home, felt at home straight away. The house was lovely, everything you could need was there. Loved the location as we had stayed on this development before, lucky with the weather for all 4 days. Will return to Sea Holly Cottage again but for a week next time.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to post a lovely review, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again. Warm wishes Laura

“Lovely weeks break with perfect weather”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2016

Having driven a considerable distance, on arrival this cottage looks just as nice as it does on the web. We were met by a representative for the owners, who was ready and waiting on on arrival to let us in and provide us with keys for the week. You are given your own parking spot and is directly behind property. The cottage itself was lovely, it had everything that we needed. It was immaculate and there is plenty of room for a bigger family and it's ideal for dogs. There is literally nothing the owners haven't thought of. The welcome pack was fully enjoyed, and we had a nice coffee in the garden in the morning. There is even a little bag provided, which you can take home, which has the name of cottage on it. This came in very handy for the beach. We travelled with our dog so we needed somewhere that was dog friendly and also allowed dogs on the beach and this was ideal for both. The beach itself, after you walk up what seems to be the longest hill in the world, is lovely. Plenty of places to sit and lots of other people with dogs as well which was great. If like us you fall very lucky with the weather, it's actually nice to be able to walk to the beach as the queue for the car park seems to go on forever. It gets very busy but still lots of room. We had a drive around so it's also very good as a base to visit places around the area. There was lots of friendly communication from the owner, who couldn't do enough for us, thanks again Laura. I would highly recommend this cottage it's lovely.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for taking the time to add such a lovely review of your stay. I'm thrilled you had such a lovely time and you were so lucky with the weather, what a lovely week you picked.....

“beautiful and well maintained property with everything you need for a relaxing stay”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2016

The property was well furnished and equipped for our stay and we really appreciated the welcome pack. Laura has thought of everything guests would need to enjoy their stay. I stayed with my two nieces aged 9 and 10 and my two dogs. The girls loved their bedrooms and being in a modern house (we live in a 400 year old farmhouse). It was really helpful that Laura gave details of where we could eat with our dogs joining us too. We had a short break but hope to be back again soon!

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, I much appreciate it and I look forward to welcoming you back.
