“Lovely weeks break with perfect weather”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2016

Having driven a considerable distance, on arrival this cottage looks just as nice as it does on the web. We were met by a representative for the owners, who was ready and waiting on on arrival to let us in and provide us with keys for the week. You are given your own parking spot and is directly behind property. The cottage itself was lovely, it had everything that we needed. It was immaculate and there is plenty of room for a bigger family and it's ideal for dogs. There is literally nothing the owners haven't thought of. The welcome pack was fully enjoyed, and we had a nice coffee in the garden in the morning. There is even a little bag provided, which you can take home, which has the name of cottage on it. This came in very handy for the beach. We travelled with our dog so we needed somewhere that was dog friendly and also allowed dogs on the beach and this was ideal for both. The beach itself, after you walk up what seems to be the longest hill in the world, is lovely. Plenty of places to sit and lots of other people with dogs as well which was great. If like us you fall very lucky with the weather, it's actually nice to be able to walk to the beach as the queue for the car park seems to go on forever. It gets very busy but still lots of room. We had a drive around so it's also very good as a base to visit places around the area. There was lots of friendly communication from the owner, who couldn't do enough for us, thanks again Laura. I would highly recommend this cottage it's lovely.

Thank you so much for taking the time to add such a lovely review of your stay. I'm thrilled you had such a lovely time and you were so lucky with the weather, what a lovely week you picked.....

“beautiful and well maintained property with everything you need for a relaxing stay”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2016

The property was well furnished and equipped for our stay and we really appreciated the welcome pack. Laura has thought of everything guests would need to enjoy their stay. I stayed with my two nieces aged 9 and 10 and my two dogs. The girls loved their bedrooms and being in a modern house (we live in a 400 year old farmhouse). It was really helpful that Laura gave details of where we could eat with our dogs joining us too. We had a short break but hope to be back again soon!

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, I much appreciate it and I look forward to welcoming you back.

“A lovely cottage”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2016

We had a very enjoyable midweek stay at Sea Holly Cottage with our late teens children and two dogs. The cottage was very comfortable and welcoming, has great facilities and was in a superb location within walking distance of the beautiful beach.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, I'm so glad you enjoyed your break.

“Absolutley Loved It, Great for Friends and Family”

Reviewed 10 Jan 2016

My partner, our dog and myself, plus another couple stayed at the cottage over the New Year period. From the very moment we were handed the keys we were impressed with how well the cottage is looked after, and the facilities it offers. Its warm, comfortable - has plenty of space, whilst still remaining cosy. No detail has been spared in making sure you have everything you need during your stay. The area where the cottage is in is quiet and a stones throw from the sea. There are a few bars and restaurants locally, plus Rye is 10 minutes drive away - which is a great little eccentric sea side town. Super for dog walking on the beach in the winter time, but not allowed in the summer. A big thumbs up from all of us!

We are so glad you all had a lovely time and enjoyed the cottage. Thank you for giving us our 60th review! Laura and Adrian

“Lovely cottage close to the beach - great for children and dogs!”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2015

Sea Holly Cottage is a lovely cottage close to the beautiful Camber beach and sand dunes. We all (2 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog) felt very comfortable. It is very well equipped and nicely decorated. Nice touches included a well stocked larder, a good welcome pack and treats for the dog. There was also very good information on walks and dog friendly pubs!

“A delightful comfortable cottage, very well presented with a homely feel.”

We stayed for the weekend and were very pleased with the everything about this holiday cottage. It was very comfortable, lovely lounge and beds gave us a good nights sleep. Everything has been thought through and the quality was to a very high standard. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The whole cottage was very clean and fresh. The sun shone as well giving an extra bonus for us to use the beach, which made my whole weekend delightful. Thank you to both Laura and Adrian, I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

“Beautiful and extremely well-equipped”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2014

The cottage itself was decorated to a very high standard, with everything you could imagine provided for - board games and children's books, even dog bowls! The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable; my family and I had an excellent time. The location was just 10 minutes' walk from the beach, which was ideal for us. The caretaker was very helpful as well. All in all, highly professionally run and well worth a visit!
