Description from owner

Our lovely child friendly cottage, sleeps 4 and 1 infant. A light & airy house with plantation shutters and wood floors. It is situated in a collection of brick and weather boarded New England style properties, has private allocated parking & is 5 minutes walk from the beautiful Camber beach and dunes. Nominated by The Sunday Times Travel Magazine as one of the worlds 50 top beaches, this accolade is truly well deserved, it really is absolutely stunning.

Quaint & beautiful Rye is a couple of miles away with a variety of antique shops, tea rooms, restaurants and art galleries. Nearby, Romney Marsh, Winchelsea and Dungeness offer great opportunities for walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and exploring this historic "1066" county, with many National Trust properties and castles on your doorstep. Lots going on throughout the year, including the very popular Rye Jazz Festival.

With great restaurants and an abundance of local produce, fresh seafood, salt marsh lamb and in summer, Kentish cherries and strawberries, you certainly won't go hungry after all the activities on offer.

For some retail therapy, the McArthur Glen International designer outlet village is only 25 minutes away by car in Ashford. This can also be reached directly, by taking the train from Rye. Its adjacent to Ashford International, so it's not too far to walk.

In addition to sleeping 4, we also keep a travel cot for infants (please bring your baby bedding)

We also have a high chair & stairgate available for use.

Please note our family bathroom features an over-bath shower and there is a second WC downstairs.

Regrettably, no pets & no smoking inside please.

Our housekeeper will prepare everything for your arrival, with beds made up, fresh bath & hand towels, plus a hairdryer for use.

Please bring your beach towels.

Arrival from 3pm & Departure by 11am
