“Great location”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2016

The location of the cottage is fantastic, really close to lots of different interesting places and in the middle of a beautiful rural area, just what we wanted, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The place was well equipped and clean. The cottage is indeed large enough to host up to 6 people comfortably. The outdoor area is really large and child-friendly. There are also tables and chairs to sit outdoors and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set. It is close to Blair Atholl and Pitlochry where you can find shops open till late should you require to buy groceries, charge petrol, or fancy going to a restaurant. The key holders are really nice and helpful people. Overall, it was a really good and comfortable place to stay in. I have two minor issues though. (1) We were not aware the cottage electricity runs with a £1 meter machine and so we were not prepared for that. Thankfully there was money in the meter (which actually lasted for most of our stay). I think that should be stated in the description. (2) The mattress in the double bed is a bit dated. None of these two things prevented us from having a great time though.

Good Afternoon, Many thanks for your kind review. We are so glad that you had a lovely stay. I'm very sorry about the meter machine not been brought to your attention, this has since been corrected and now shows in the description. As regards the mattress I'm very glad you have brought this to my attention, thank you. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us and we would welcome you back again! Thank you Nicola
