Walking Corsica's GR20 high mountain start's in calenzana, the olive oil festival is in Montegrosso every summer, vineyard tours are possible all year and many water sports are proposed on the different beautiful beaches in the region.

Some of the beaches with incredible crystal clear blue water and completely unspoiled nature are not crowded in the summer and we are happy to share those beautiful sites with our guests every year.

Calvi set between mountains and sea, its bars, restaurants, shops bordered by a protected and wild coast, numerous white sandy beaches and crystal turquoise waters like Ostriconi, Saleccia, Bodri, Revellata surended with a beautiful and unspoiled nature.

The forest of Bonifato, the wine growing region, the wild scenery of the Agriates desert, local bio markets, and rich history of the region.

Visting by boat the reserve of Scandola (protected by the Unesco) is a must, the Fango stream (Unesco protected) with its rock swimming pools is fantastic.

“Un séjour vraiment inoubliable”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2014

“Dream house in Dream landscape”

Reviewed 27 Nov 2013

Thanks for the wonderful time at your house. It's very charming, we like your house very much and it's much more better as your photos. And thanks for your friendly welcome at your home. Your service are perfect for us. The landscape is great, you can visit dream beaches, go bathing at sea and clear river called Fango, very nice place ! And you are near by Calvi, Lumio or Ile Rousse, round about 20 minutes by car. We say PERFECT HOLIDAYS ! And many thanks to Family Larrieu for your help and friendly time at your home. Best wishes from Germany, Fam.Holger Kemmesies

Nice family from Germany, there are coming for several years on the island but for the first time at the property.

“Fantastic location”

Reviewed 25 Nov 2012

The location is a hundred percent location, I stayed twice at the location (June 2011 with sporty friends and May 2012 with the family, myself, wife and 3 children at the age of 7, 5, 2). The renters are very kind. We will come again!!!

“Best holiday we had in the last years!”

Reviewed 18 Oct 2012

- In the House there`s a folder with tips (from the owner) for great locations. Very good! - Visit Pigna, it`s so cute ... - Go hiking, the nature is very very beautifull. We like most the mountains near porto and piana, it is a long distance to drive, but that doesn`t matter. Start early! - enjoy the house and the pool, it is so relaxing. We also cooked every day, it was a pleasure. - buy food in the Leclerc in Ile Rousse. Good prices, excellent fresh fish

I want to thank's Birgit and her friend's, it was a pleasure to have her at the house.

“Lovely house in beautiful location”

Reviewed 2 Sep 2012

We really enjoyed our (2nd) stay in this beautiful house in a wonderful location - amazing views of the mountains from the terrace. The house is stylish and well equipped, the swimming pool provided hours of amusement and the air conditioning was very welcome. Matthias and Elisabeth are very friendly and helpful owners and gave good suggestions on what to do. We especially enjoyed: BBQs on the terrace, swimming in the Fango river (+ good pizza restaurant nearby), first couple of hours walk up the GR20 from Calenzana we found manageable for 11 & 14 year olds (but started early before it got too hot), Pain de Sucre beach and snorkelling at Arinella beach.

we were delighted to have Tom and Sheena at the house for the second summer, its a wonderful family very respectful of the house and interesting people, their friends were also very nice. I highly recommand this family to any home owners.
