UPDATE APRIL 2018. New oven, hob, dishwasher and kitchen tap installed in April 2018. New look pergola with drapes as well as new living and dining room furniture making Casamia a fully functional little gem.

Casamia is perched on the hills with beautiful sea and mountains views of the north Costa Blanca. This villa is secluded and quiet with no immediate neighbours and no traffic. It is the perfect place to relax whilst admiring the stunning setting. Yet, within a five minutes drive you will reach Calpe with all its shops, restaurants and amenities. A 10 minutes drive from the villa takes you to one of Calpe's white sandy beaches. The sea looks much further away on the pictures than it actually is. Our villa offers both total tranquility with quick access to a number of other seafront resorts, such as Moraira, Altea and Benidorm and is therefore unique in that respect.

This is a home from home concept as Casamia is very much our beloved holiday home which we only purchased recently. Since May 2015 it has been fully redecorated (additional investment in April 2018 as described above). All outdoor areas repainted and gardens redesigned. All bedroom furniture and bedding are brand new, anti allergenic and of very good quality. All towelling and linen have been hand picked and our white sheets are made of 400 thread Egyptian cotton. Beach towels are provided at no extra cost. We can also supply a cot and high chair if required.

You will be provided with all modern facilities including wifi, large flat screen TV, main British TV channels and HI FI which can be operated from any devices via Bluetooth.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with brand new American style fridge, dishwasher, hob, oven, washing machine and microwave. Crockery is also brand new from 2015.

Our lounge has been tastefully decorated with some unique antique furniture.

There is ample seating for 6 in our lounge and 1 dining area for 8 outside for al fresco dining. We have an outdoor table tennis table. The pool (unheated although very warm in the summer months) is maintained twice weekly during peak season and weekly outside the summer months. You will find different areas to relax within our gardens to either read a book, have a little siesta or just sunbathe in total tranquillity. As of April 2017 we have installed an outdoor day bed.

What can you when holidaying at Casamia?

For those of you after some action, Benidorm with its water/leisure parks and night life is only 25 minutes away by car. For some Spanish authenticity do visit our neighbouring town Altea which has lovely beaches and a lovely water front with many tapas bars and restaurants to enjoy day and night. In the old town you can stroll the cobbled narrow white streets in the warm evenings and admire the artisan work on display.

Calpe offers two amazing and award winning white sandy beaches with watersports and beach volley ball etc. So there is plenty to do for children of all ages. Moraira which is only 20 minutes away is simply stunning with its marina and ragged coast line.

Along the whole coast there are plenty of coves where you can safely snorkel or go kayaking, jet skiing or book an excursion. There is so much to do and explore if you are inclined to do so. Yet you may simply want to just sit and admire the view by the pool and do nothing!

There are plenty of supermarket nearby, the closest less than 10 minutes away. You could also visit our local markets for local produce.

Due to its location a car will be essential which can be hired from your airport of arrival. Alicante Airport is just under an hour from the villa. You can also fly to Valencia or Murcia which are 1.5 hrs away. There are daily flights throughout the year.

Facilities:

Main bedroom: Large with kingsize bed, beside tables, chair, chest, air conditioning, dressing table and triple wardrobe. Plenty of room for a cot. Access to large en-suite with its his and hers sinks, large modern shower and toilet.

Bedroom 2: with wardrobe, chair, air conditioning, bedside tables with a choice of either 2 single beds or a superking bed.

Bedroom 3: with wardrobe, chair, air conditioning and bedside tables with a choice of either 2 single beds or a superking bed.

Family bathroom: bath with shower

Kitchen with separate utility area: Spacious with microwave, American fridge, electric oven, hob (gas bottle) washing machine and dishwasher. Plenty of storage and worktop space.

Open plan lounge and dining area: Large Flat screen TV, Hi Fi, Wifi, coffee table and spare blankets for comfort.

Outside. There is a dining table under an amasing pergola, hammock, Hanging chair, pizza oven, 4 sun loungers, daybed and BBQ. Large unheated pool with outstanding views.

Water is supplied from a well and water tank by just giving us a call.

“Great villa and pool with lovely views”

The villa is lovely and the pool is great - a good size and perfect temperature. We all had fun playing with the inflatables - the kids loved it!! Plenty of nice places to visit nearby but away from all the masses if you want peace and quiet. We had a great time and would definitely visit again.

To start with, this is one of the most well equiped villa's that we have ever stayed in, the kitchen was probably better equiped than my own! (condiments and equipment) The views from the villa are stunning, that it is all on one level was for us a big bonus, not that we have an issue with stairs, but it just made summer living and eating outside so easy. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a God send at night! The pergola gave some welcome shade during the day and was a lovely place to sit at night too, with the lighting and candles. Lydie had warned us that all the shops are closed on a Sunday, but if you do get caught out, then the large supermarket at the roundabout in Benissa is open on a Sunday in high season - we think it's the only one around that is? The road to get to the villa was better than I had thought it would be, and was on SatNav, although it was very steep on the last bit - Lydie's directions are very good and they do warn you. We hired a Corsa, I'm not sure that I would want to drive anything much bigger around the roads in that area though. The beaches are not that far away and we spent time at Calpe and Javea beach - both lovely. Also had lunch in the Jalon valley - there is a great place for co-operative wine there - very very cheap and very good! I think that this was one of the most chilled out holidays that we've had as a family for a long time. Highly recommend staying here.

This very clean villa has everything I need, plenty of space, really comfy beds, great Wi - Fi, English TV & beautiful surroundings. It also has an incredible private pool I could happily sit by all day, with the most amazing vistas. With just a 5 min ride into the towns of either Benissa or Calpe, you're not far from the lovely beaches either.Sitting under the pagoda in the gorgeous gardens in the evenings looking over the fantastic view is priceless. I can't wait to go back to Casamia!
